Is this model best or yoga 910 series best for students education for engineering

The Yoga 3 Pro has an Intel Core M-Series processor. It has a base processor speed of 1.2GHz and a boost processor speed of 2.9GHz. The newer Yoga 910-14 has the 7th Gen. Intel Core I-7-7500U processor. It has a base processor speed of 2.7GHz and a Turbo Boost processor speed of 3.5GHz. The Yoga 910-14 provides more processing power to handle the more demanding programs that will most likely be a part of the engineering curriculum.

It should take approximately 2 to 3 hours to fully charge from 15% to 100%. Be sure that the device is off as this will speed up the charging process.

The description has 470s. Some of these answers are based on the older 470. Isn't the weight of the s model 2.9lbs?

Does this come with the active pen? I just unboxed mine but there's an empty box for the pen and the pamphlet shows it as something to unpack.
