Yes, once set up, any doorbell press will automatically stream the camera on the Lenovo Smart Display. Outside of that scenario, and at anytime, you can use voice or touch to stream the camera manually. You will need to make sure your Lenovo Smart Display is updated to the latest software version available will roll out in available countries before mid-november 2018.

Will this chromebook run Crostini which is linux compatibility?
This Chromebook is compatible with Google Play Store APPs. There is no mention of compatibility with Linux APPs.

Can you hook up a printer via the usb outlet?

Are there any protective cases you can buy for this model? I'm buying for a grade school child and would like additional protection.
You can use any universal case for this device that is made for a 11.6"/12" device.
