Thanks, BUT...where's the SERIAL NUMBER??? I tried to read the cord box, but the print is SO tiny that even with my good light, reading glasses, magnifying glass and a flashlight I couldn't read it. Somebody help me find it please?

The serial number of you specific model is both on the box label and on the bottom of the computer. It will be labelled S/N.

Didn't get an answer so I ask again: I tried to START using the laptop but it didn't work. Isn't it supposed to still have some battery left when I bought it? Isn't it supposed to work without the AC cord too until battery ends, then we use the cord???

There may not be a charge left in the battery left from factory charging. Plug the device in, let it charge for approximately 15 minutes, then leaving the device plugged in to continue charging, turn the device on.

Hello. I know this model number 81DE0085US, ships with 8GB of RAM. 4GB soldered to the motherboard and 4GB in the one memory slot. Can I add more memory to this laptop? I mean, if I replace the one in the slot for another memory,.

This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. Your certified technician can replace the 4GB RAM stick with an 8GB stick for a system total of 12GB RAM.

This is an entry level, light use system with its AMD E2 processor. It is not meant for multi-tasking or demanding programs. It is good for light work with Microsoft Office type programs and light internet browsing. If this describes your computing needs, the IdeaCentre 330-20 All-In-One system would be a good choice.
