The bottom left of this laptop is getting hot. Should this be happening?

This laptop should never get "hot". It will become "warm" under normal operating circumstances. The fan within the device will automatically turn on and cool the system, keeping the device within normal operating temperatures. The normal operating temperature for this system at maximum workloads would be approximately 150-degrees Fahrenheit. If you feel the system is getting too hot, you should bring the device into your local Best Buy and have the Geek Squad examine the system ASAP.

This unit won't stay connected to the network. It thinks there is no network connectivity, but my other PC's get it. Where is the Intel adapter listed on the device manager list/control panel?

Go to "device manager" and expand the Network adapters tab. You will find it there. There may be WiFi driver updates for your specific system. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:
