The approximate battery life on a full charge is 4 to 6 hours, depending on the work the system is doing. If you are using the system to stream movies or do other resource intensive work, 3.5 hours sounds about right. You may want to try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.
