Yes, this is the new Yoga 920-14. The active pen is included. No, there is no configuration with 512GB SSD with FHD screen rather than 4K-UHD.

Two questions: Can a second touchscreen monitor be connected and used for input? Can an external hard drive be used for additional storage and if so can it be mapped as a drive so software can be directed to save to that directory?

There is a Micro-HDMI port on this device. With a Micro-HDMI to HDMI adapter, you could connect an external monitor to this device. You can use an external drive. You can change the default drive for saving files in Windows 10.
