Since this has the same specs as the other 910 Yoga does it also have a backlit keyboard ? Cause I just bought one and it doesnt seem to be lit !!

The Flex 4-14 is a heavier system. It has a 14" screen versus the 11.6" screen on the Yoga 710. The batteries on both systems are only replaceable by a certified technician. The maximum RAM for the Yoga 710 is 4GB. The Maximum RAM for the Flex 4-14 is 16GB. A certified technician must do all the work inside both of theses systems so as to not void the warranty on either model.

I am replacing my mothers laptop which she uses mostly to edit pdf documents and search the Web. She has Office on her current laptop. Is it possible to transfer that program to this laptop? Is this a good choice for my mother's needs?

This Flex 3-11 is an entry level system. It is meant for light use. There is only 64GB of total storage space on this device so there is not room to load many programs. Your mother should have enough room to load her PDF editing software on this device. Microsoft Office software is already loaded on this system as part of the operating system. There is a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365. Once the trial period is over a product key is necessary to activate the software. An existing 2010 or newer version of Microsoft Office may work, if it is transferable to a new computer. You will need to check this with Microsoft.
