This is a aluminum case system. There is no international warranty.

How do you turn on the backlit keyboard? I've used mine in dim lighting and the keyboard is not backlit. I see that the lights are there during startup so I know it's there.

Does this laptop allow you to play PC games? I understand it had a DVD drive but I just want to double check.

This system does have a CD/DVD drive built in. With regard to gaming on this device, we recommend you check with the game software publisher for their compatibility with Windows 10 Home 64-bit and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements to run their software, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.

Possibly, that is referring to the availability of the text of the warranty. There is a limited one year manufacturer's warranty on this system that covers OEM issues.
