I read that this particular laptop screen is not as vivid and the blacks are kind of washed out until you remove the coating layer off the screen. How does the screen look right out of the box. Does the colors pop and is it vivid?

We feel this system has a great screen. The 1920 x 1080 resolution boasts impressive color and clarity. IPS technology for wide viewing angles. Energy-efficient LED backlight. Are all features of the screen on this device.
