I hard wired my PC to one of the ports on the back of my router. I was told it was better to shut off wi-fi for faster speeds, more security and to save electricity. Will this have any negative effects and how should I shut off wi-fi?

If you don't want the WiFi feature, just disconnect the router from your modem and plug your computer into the modem. If you turn off the WiFi you will turn off the power to the router, which will disconnect the hardware connection as well.

So I'm guessing from below. comparing USB 2.0 and 3.0, I should plug my wired keyboard and mouse in the USB 2.0 ports. I'm thinking there will be no disadvantage to plugging them in 2.0 and I should save the 3.0 ports for more needy situations???

That is correct. The USB 3.0 ports are backward compatible to USB 2.0 though.

I bought a yoga 910 16G/512G version a few weeks ago. It had "auto rotation stop working" problem. Then I exchanged to another one, but it had the same issue. I had to return it. Do you guys fix the problem or just my bad luck?

This is not a problem that we have had before. There is an on/off or lock screen option that usually fixes this issue.
