Is this a clear and sharp headset? I tried the Merge headset with my iPhone and could not get anything but blurry images. Can this headset be used for applications other than Star Wars?

Yes, the images are driven by your phone, they should not be blurry, if your phone is listed as compatible. All game content available at time of launch is strictly within the Star Wars universe. Star Wars: Jedi Challenges offers one storyline taking the player through more than 30 challenges across three types of experiences. However, as this is app based, updated experiences and game modes will be available.

Will this headset be compatible with the Google Pixel 2 XL? Currently have an S8 Plus, but it's not on the list so I'm confused. Should I not get this headset?

Ok so what qualifies a phone as being compatible? What is the size of the holder for the phone? What specs does a phone need to work with this device? I know my phone isn't on the list of compatible devices. Note 8. Will it fit or not in the device?

I see the galaxy s8 on the list but not the s8 plus. Is it not compatible?

Can the headset be used to view other VR simulations ie Google cardboard or other type of 3D experiences from you tube?
