I have a Lenovo IdeaPad that is approaching 7 years old. I love it. But the palm rest assembly is so sensitive it makes the cursor jump every time I lightly rest my palms just before typing. Does this happen with the Yoga 710 15?

No, this is not normal operation and it will not happen with the Yoga 710-15.

How can we get a Win10 image disc? I need it in case something happens with the current OS and I have to reinstall.

You should create your own recovery software. Either on discs, a Flash Memory Stick, or on a Cloud Storage account. You can do this in Windows 10 by clicking on the magnifying glass icon on the bottom left of your desktop. Type "Recovery Discs" in the search window. Then click on "Create a Recovery Drive" and follow the instructions.

We recommend you check first with YouTube and the video editing software you will be using to create your videos. Find out what the compatibility is with Windows 10 Home 64-bit for both YouTube and the video editing software you will be using. Then find out what YouTube and the editing software you will be using recommend for the computer hardware to use their products. What processor speed? Should the system have a discrete graphics card? How much RAM is necessary? What internet connection speed is recommended? Getting this information first will save you time and money and insure you get a computer that can accomplish the work you want to do.

How do you switch to HDMI in?

There is a dedicated HDMI port for HDMI-In. It should be the HDMI port to the right side of the line up of ports on the back of the device.
