No, this model does not have a built in CD/DVD drive, the 2 in 1 thin design does not allow for this. You can easily add an external CD/DVD drive by just plugging in to a USB port on the device.

Is there any way to improve the volume or quality of the sound on this computer? What is the best way to download snapchat on it? And is LibreOffice a good writing program for it?

With regard to the speaker volume, you might try going in to Properties for sounds/speaker. For Playback, find the Enhancement Tab. Find Equalizer. Change setting to Powerful. With regard to 3rd party software, we recommend you contact the software publisher and confirm their compatibility with Windows 10 and this system's configuration.
