Can one 4GB RAM be replaced with a 16GB to get a total of 20GB or do both have to be the same capacity?

Work on this system should only be done by a Certified Technician, otherwise the warranty could be voided. The maximum RAM capability of this system is 16GB in 2 slots. They must match.

Possible battery defect... Hovering over the task bar on the battery icon, it reads "99% not charging"; please know that I do have the charger plugged to the device. Does anyone else have this problem?

The energy management system on this device is set up to no continue charging if the battery is at 90% of capacity at the time of plug-in. Let the battery drain down to below 50% and it will charge normally to 100%. This is done to prolong battery life.

Can the gpu be overclocked?

The Intel Core I-5-6200U processor on this system has built in over-clocking (Turbo-Boost). Idle clock speed is 2.3GHz and under stress, Turbo-Boost raises the clock speed to 2.8GHz automatically.
