When I have access to power, should I use the laptop plugged in (even if battery fully chgd) or will this shorten the battery's memory/life? Also, does it shorten the battery's life/memory if I don't fully discharge the battery before plugging in again?

Best Answer

The battery will stop taking a charge once it reaches 100%. Modern batteries no longer have a "memory", so you can begin charging at any level of battery charge and not create a problem.

Does the 80ST001NUS model have Radeon R5 or R7 graphics? I've seen it listed differently on different sites, and I can't see any difference with the 80ST000KUS model otherwise, although I have seen different specs for RAM speed so not sure on that either.

This model, 80ST001NUS, has integrated graphics processing within the AMD A12-9700P processor. The version of graphics processing within the chip is AMD Radeon R5 Graphics version.

There are generic 15.6" screen protectors available, not one specifically made for this model. Any case made for a 15.6" laptop will work. No pen is included, but the screen is compatible with an active/digital pen. This system has a Thunderbolt 3.1 port.
