Does this system have internal speakers? If so, mine seem not to be working. Any help would be appreciated.

This desktop system does not have built in speakers. You will need to plug in external speakers. There are jacks for this on the back of the system.

Is this computer quiet?

Try to get in to a store close to you to experience this system in operation for yourself. Stores are usually noisy so it may be difficult to be sure. We suggest you take advantage of the great return policy at Best Buy. Take this system home and experience it in your home for up to 15 days. Hang on to your receipt and if the system’s operating sounds are too loud for you, you can bring the system back within those 15 days with your receipt.

Is the battery removable?

Because this is a refurbished system, you need to be sure all of the attachments are included. You need to check with the retailer about the specific model you are interested in.

Should I have a bigger power supply installed to run dual monitors? I saw a different answer saying you need a second video card to run dual monitors on this tower. Would it be a good idea to beef up the power supply to compensate?

This system has both an HDMI out as well as a VGA out port. You can connect two monitors, one to each port provided. The system has a 180 watt power supply. Check with the monitor manufacturers for minimum specifications to power the monitors you plan on using.

Can the current hard drive be replaced with a solid state drive?

The hard drive in this system is considered a "Field Replaceable Unit" if the work is performed by a certified technician. Any work not performed by a certified technician could void your warranty.
