I hear a lot about heat and fan being loud. Does this happen when running big Excel sheets for example? Or just when using big softwares like CAD?

Not to say the fan didn't run, but that I did not hear it. We recommend you give this system a try yourself, see if it works for you. The Yoga 910 will fit in to this case but it will be a very loose fit.
Case dimensions: Height: 14.8" X Width: 9.57" X Depth: 1.18"
Yoga 910 dimensions: Height: 12.7" X Width: 8.8" X Depth: 0.6"

No, you will need to use a step down power adapter as this is a 110v system.

This system does not have a touch screen. There is a typographical error in the product description. Best Buy has a 15 day return policy. We recommend you check with Best Buy immediately for your next steps.

Does this computer come with Word, PowerPoint etc... or do you have to buy the software additionally?

There is a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 on this system. To keep the software after the trial, you just need to purchase an activation key, you don't need to download any additional software.
