Is there any known performance issues with the disk for this model. I see sometime system hangs when an Edge with 2 tabs open with the task manager running ?

No, this should be a very quick system. The Core I-5 processor, 8GB of RAM and especially the 128 GB solid state hard drive should provide extremely fast file/program recall.

This would not be the right system for you. You describe the work a processor like the Intel Core I-7 was made for. Maybe a Core I-5 if the I-7 is not in your budget. You will need at least 8GB of RAM.

I have an MSI Radeon R7 250 2GB DDR3 GPU. Does this PC come with a PCI-E 3.0 x16 slot and can I set this GPU up to crossfire with the APU?

This system has a AMD ATI Radeon R7 discrete graphics card already. This system is not set up for crossfire. The GPU takes over the graphics work upon your selection of the GPU.
