The Legion Pro 7i is upgradable in various ways, including swapping out the 2x 16GB CSODIMM DDR5-6400 memory modules for ones of higher memory (for disclosure, 32GB of RAM is the max memory determined for this model based on test results with current Lenovo memory offerings) and you can swap out the 2x 1TB SSD M.2 2280 drives for ones of higher capacity (1x M.2 2280 PCIe 5.0 x4 slot, 1x M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot).

Can this laptop play CD's?

Is the ssd upgradeable from 512 or replaceable with a larger ssd?

You can swap out the existing 512GB M.2 2280 PCIe 5.0x4 Performance NVME Opal 2.0 drive for one of higher capacity. Based on test results with current Lenovo offerings, the storage capacity for this ThinkPad X1 Carbon G13 is 2TB (M.2 2280 SSD).

Ok, I drive a lot, I have a dashcam on both of my vehicles. I tried an open box laptop at best buy to use a mini memory card with an adapter, but kept getting an error message , saying file not supported. Can I view my dashcam footage on this laptop?

This IdeaPad features a card reader port so if you use a microSD to SD card adapter, so long as the video format being saved by the dashcams is compatible with Windows, it should work with this laptop.

Hi. I just bought a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15 but it does not recognize my two monitors when connected to my Lenovo ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 station. Is there a compatible dock station I can use with it? Thank you.

We're sorry to hear you're having some trouble using your system with the two external displays. The Thunderbolt 3 docking station is not compatible with this system since it does not feature Thunderbolt 3 ports. Unfortunately, we do not have a Lenovo docking station solution that we can offer currently at Best Buy; but most docking stations using USB-C 3.2 that supports Power Delivery and DisplayPort video output or DP-Alt Mode should work with the system.
