The memory cannot be upgraded with this model Flex 5i, as the RAM is soldered to the systemboard.

With the product that can be assumed that you're referencing based on the information within the pictures attached, this Yoga 7i 16 versus the other system features a quicker, more efficient processing design, with faster memory/RAM to name a couple differences.

These two models are several generations apart from one another, essentially making them two very different devices that supply different experiences. The Intel Core Ultra Series 1 powered Yoga 7i products are the only new in box Yoga 7i 16 products currently carried at Best Buy.

There currently are not Lenovo laptop offerings at Best Buy that feature an optical drive, but many have various types of USB ports. Internal disc drives are no longer prevalent, but you can use an external optical drive to plug into the laptop and read/write discs when needed.
