To clarify, this configuration of the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition features a different display panel, a 2.8K (rounded up to 3K) resolution OLED with a higher brightness (500 nits base / 1100 nits peak) and refresh rate (120Hz), versus the other panel in question that's 3.8K, with a lower brightness and refresh rate.

Would this product be acceptable for doing video editing?

This will depend on the depth of video editing, what software you may wish to use, and the type / quality of video is that you may be editing. If the video editing platform used is light, possibly web based, and the video quality isn't higher than 4K/60Hz, this system should work sufficiently. If this isn't the case, to start, we recommend reviewing the system requirements of the editing software you have in mind, then compare these requirements to the specifications of the computers you're interested in to help ensure you find the right fit for you.

Is it ok to leave the computer plugged in to power all the time.

For optimal battery health and longevity, this behavior isn't recommended, but if you'd like to do so, we recommend utilizing battery protection software and features, like battery threshold, which can be activated in the Lenovo Vantage app. Battery threshold will prevent the system battery from charging above a certain point (around 80% is preferred) and will not the charge the laptop until the battery drops below a certain point (around 30-40% is preferred here), helping to preserve battery health and system power efficiency.
