Hi, Frince. You can remove the existing M.2 2242 and replace it with a higher capacity drive. For disclosure, the drive we tested it had a maximum of 1TB.

What can you use the Pen for? Does Lenovo have an app that allows you to take notes and then transrcibe notes into text?

Hi, thank you for your question. You can use a pen for various things including jotting down notes, signatures on a pdf, system navigation, sketching and doodling, and more. Also, there is not a Lenovo app that can complete that function natively; however, it is possible in a number of Microsoft applications like Word and OneNote.

Can someone clarify if the RAM be upgraded? The official Lenovo page says "16 GB DDR4-3200MHz - (8 GB Soldered + 8 GB SODIMM)", which means the SODIMM should be upgradeable. However, most people here say it cannot be upgraded.

Hi, ganjero. This IdeaPad does have one 8GB soldered module and one 8GB SO-DIMM. Our tests using available Lenovo memory offerings has 16GB as the max supported memory.
