Is there a way to watch your calorie tracking during work out beside when you stop recording I'm useing in door feature but can't find calorie counter like my F7 watch does this watch is good if some can answer this for me would be great

The screen on the M400 is customizable allowing owners to select whatever data they would like to see. Below is a link to Polar's website with instructions on how to do so. - Mike@PolarUSA

FT7 Men's Heart Rate Monitor

I would like to use this to also check my resting pulse rate, which is usually in the mid-to-low 40's and occasionally as low as the mid-30's. Is it capable of accurately reading this low?

The H1 sensor that comes packaged with the FT7 would be able to record resting heart rate values that low. Note however that if a user has a heart condition, like an irregular heartbeat, then it would have difficulty interpreting the data. Does the heart rate monitor operate strapless or do you need the chest strap?

does this have a function that will alert me when I go under desired heart rate and when I exceed heart rate I want to be at? And also is it a set...watch and sensor?

The FT60 has 3 heart rate zones that can each be customized. If one were to choose to exercise within just one zone for a particular day, you could 'lock' onto that zone where upon the watch would alert you to either speed up or slow down relative to the zone values.
