The Loop 2 would be a great device to use to track your activity, regardless of age! As for how small the band goes, the Loop 2 needs to be cut to the size of the users wrist. For people who have smaller wrists, cutting it to size ensures a correct fit. How do you charge this device?

Packaged with the Loop 2 is a charging cord, of which one side has a magnetized 'o-ring' that holds itself on the back of the Loop 2. This port, circular in design, matches the circumference of the magnetized o-ring and what allows for the device to be charged - Mike@PolarUSA

Does the time show all the time?

The A360 when not in exercise mode, displays the time when the user 'flicks' their wrist (as if to look at the time). Doing so will turn on the display and show the current time. It's with the understanding that the activity tracking capabilities are always active. There is no feature that one needs to 'turn on' for it to work. - Mike@PolarUSA

Does the Polar Activity Tracker measure activity and steps when located in a pants pocket instead of in a watch display?

The A300 (along with the other Polar models that track activity) are designed in such a way where step tracking is optimized when the product is worn on the wrist. Wearing it within one's pocket will likely result in readings that would not be consistent with the user. - Mike@PolarUSA

Does this work with android since it only has apple in specs

The Loop 2 does indeed work with devices running on the Android operating system. Note however that one will need the 4.3 or newer operating system on your device. - Mike@PolarUSA

What chest strap do you buy to go along with this to be more accurate or do you not need one? Thanks!

Do you have to buy a chest sensor in order to track your heart rate?

There are 2 versions of the A300 that are available to purchase. One is sold with the heart rate sensor and the other does not. If one were to purchase the A300 minus the chest strap initially, they can purchase it as a separate accessory - Mike @ PolarUSA

Will it keep track of swim distance in a lake.

The M400 does not have any swim metrics in the programming of the watch. We would recommend Polar's V800. As it is designed for the multisport athlete, it has the ability to record speed/distance both indoors (in a pool) or outdoors (open water) - Mike @ PolarUSA
