Does the answering machine on this unit give the DATE and time for each incoming call, or does it only give the DAY and time?
Hi - The answering machine of the VTech IS8151-4 will only capture the time and day of the week. It does not include the date when the message is recorded.

How do you connect this handset to an existing V Tech cordless system. How does it recognize?
John - The VTech CS5119-16 can already work by itself. You just need to connect it on the same line where your existing phone is plugged in. They will work as extension phones but features are not shared. You can also add the handset on an existing system models CS5129 or another CS5119. Does the telephone beep until messages listened to?
Carolyn - Yes, the VTech IS8151-4 has a message alert tone feature. The telephone base will beep every 10 seconds when there is at least 1 new message recorded on the built-in answering machine.

Hi - The VTech CS6619 does not have a call block feature. You may want to consider the model VTech CS6919 and CS5119m, which includes the call block as a feature.

This VTech CM18445 corded phone is compatible with anywhere from 1 to 4 telephone lines and connects wirelessly with up to 10 handsets. The digital answering system records up to 180 minutes of messages, announcements and memos.
The line on the CM18445 4 line phone doesn't light up when someone else in the house already ls in use. If I plug in 1 line the light shows up to show it's in use. If you plug a second, or third line, it will not light up.
Billy - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your VTech CM18445. Make sure that the line cords are securely plugged in. You may also need to reboot your system by disconnecting the power. Wait for one minute before re-installing the power then test again. Does this phone automatically switch to a second line when the first line is occupied? Or do you physically need to push a line 2 button?
Hi - Yes, the VTech CM18445 has automatic line selection feature. The unit will automatically select a line that is not in use (starting with line 1) when the corded handset is picked up or speakerphone button is pressed.

Graham - The VTech RM5764HD is a non-expandable baby monitor. You cannot add another camera in the system.

This set includes two handsets, but you can add additional handsets (not included) to create complete coverage in your small office. Three-way conferencing functions on this VTech cordless phone system help you resolve client concerns without round-robin communication.
NO DIAL TONE.The display of the handset says, "Out of range or no power at base". Power is connected. Battery is fully charged. Have disconnected the power cord and the battery from the handset multiple times. No luck. OOMA VOIP. Can receive voice mail.
Mike - We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the VTech CS5129-26. Make sure that the telephone base has power. You can also reboot the system by disconnecting the power to the base and battery on the cordless handset. Wait for one minute then reconnect the battery and power cord. If this does not help, please contact our Consumer Sales and Service Center between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday at 1-800-595-9511.
