Linnie - Thank you for your interest. The VTech DM221 is a non-expandable baby monitor. You cannot add a baby unit to the system. You may want to consider the model VTech VM5463-2 video monitor, which comes with 2 baby units.

1. My BT162342 battery in my VTEC 6.0 registers 2.8 V when I check it on my multi meter, but when I reinstall it into my phone, it says low batt. Why? Shouldn’t the batt. level indicator bars on the screen stop scrolling when the batt. fully charged..?

Hi - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the VTech CS6114. The battery level icon on the screen should stop scrolling once the battery is fully charged. Please allow 16 hours to fully charge the battery. You may also reset the handset by disconnecting the battery. Reinstall it after a minute then test again. Anyone have trouble with the temperature reading ? Mine don’t match what the room is

Why does my Camera say “Failed to update video quality, please retry” when I select on 1080p resolution? I bought the 1080p to enjoy seeing our baby as clear as we can, not in 720

Is the AC adapter voltage 100-220V AC?

Can i hesr it if im outside of my house?

Hi - You can bring the parent unit of the VTech DM111 outside and will still be able to hear the sound from the baby unit. However, please note that the parent unit is an AC powered baby monitor. If you want to move around the house with the parent unit for a few minutes, you can install two AAA alkaline batteries for backup use. Also, the actual operating range of the baby unit may vary depending on the environmental conditions and other interferences such as walls, doors and other obstructions.

Does this phone have a satellite base phone (for another location)

Hi - The VTech CS6114 comes with a main base and a cordless handset. It is a non-expandable model hence you cannot add another handset to the system. You may check the model CS6114-2 which comes with two cordless handsets. Thank you! - VTech Support
