This really depends on what your specific needs are.
There are basically three ways you can go. You could get a Soundbar, which provides fairly good sound quality. Soundbars also work very well for situations where there are space constrictions. The downsides to Soundbars are they don't provide true surround sound, and tend to be much less powerful than the other two options. If you want to see our selection of Soundbars you could look here:

The next option is an all-in-one home theater system. This is the most affordable way to go for the quality of the sound that you get. A lot of these systems come with either an upconvert DVD player or sometimes a Blu-ray player. Since you have a PS3 I would suggest going with one that doesn't have one of these players. The downside to these systems is if you’re a true audiophile the sound is not the absolute best you can get, and their amplifiers tend to not have nearly as many inputs and outputs as the next option; they also come with rear speakers for true surround sound which means you will have to run wires. The last option is to basically build you own system. You will need to get a receiver and a set of speakers. This might sound simple, but there are many options for both out there, and when it comes to price the sky is really the limit. High end receivers can be very expensive, and so can high end speakers. The only real disadvantage to this type of system is the price. If you want to see our selection of receivers you could look here:
