My dell inspiron 1525 charger stopped working, is a new one covered by the original hardware warranty?

I assume what you are referring to is the AC adapter cord that plugs into your laptop and charges it. Most manufacturers’ warranties cover the replacement of one AC adapter during the life of the warranty. I would suggest contacting Dell support to arrange to get a new AC adapter cord by calling 1-800-624-9897, or you could go here: http://support.dell.com/. I hope this helps!

Set Up A Home Theater?

Ok, I want to buy a sound system.
i have a PS3 and An 42" HDTV...
What Do I Need to get?....an All-in-one?
Or just the speaker system?
do i need a Receiver?
This really depends on what your specific needs are.

There are basically three ways you can go. You could get a Soundbar, which provides fairly good sound quality. Soundbars also work very well for situations where there are space constrictions. The downsides to Soundbars are they don't provide true surround sound, and tend to be much less powerful than the other two options. If you want to see our selection of Soundbars you could look here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....

The next option is an all-in-one home theater system. This is the most affordable way to go for the quality of the sound that you get. A lot of these systems come with either an upconvert DVD player or sometimes a Blu-ray player. Since you have a PS3 I would suggest going with one that doesn't have one of these players. The downside to these systems is if you’re a true audiophile the sound is not the absolute best you can get, and their amplifiers tend to not have nearly as many inputs and outputs as the next option; they also come with rear speakers for true surround sound which means you will have to run wires. If you want to see our selection of all-in-one home theater systems you could look here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....

The last option is to basically build you own system. You will need to get a receiver and a set of speakers. This might sound simple, but there are many options for both out there, and when it comes to price the sky is really the limit. High end receivers can be very expensive, and so can high end speakers. The only real disadvantage to this type of system is the price. If you want to see our selection of receivers you could look here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage..., and if you want to see our selection of speakers you could go here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.... I hope this helps!

how much would it cost to fix a 32" lcd screen?

This would really depend greatly on the exact brand and model of the TV you are asking about.

You could call 1-800-GeekSquad®, and schedule an authorized service technician to come out to your house to look at the TV. They should be able to tell you how much this would cost after they diagnose everything that is needed to repair your TV.

I will say that replacing the screen is likely to not be cost effective on an 32 inch LCD, and if you want to see our selection of LCD TV's in this screen size you could look here: http://tinyurl.com/yccwkjx. I hope this helps!

If I have a PC Compatibility TV WHAT WILL I NEED FOR PC FOR IT TO WORK?

If I have a PC Compatibility TV WHAT WILL I NEED FOR PC FOR IT TO WORK?
I just got a TV that is PC compatible myself, and I have to say I love streaming video live on my large screen TV.

It is actually very simple to connect a PC to your TV, and all you should really need is two cables.

The first cable you need is a monitor cable that you plug into the back of your PC (Desktop or Laptop), and then into the PC input on the back of your TV. Keep in mind that this will only transfer the video to your TV. If you want to see this cable you could look here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....

If you want the audio sent to your TV from your PC you will need to get a basic male-male 3.5mm stereo audio cable, which connects to the headphones output on you PC and then connects to the PC audio input on your TV. If you want to see what this cable looks like you could go here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.... I hope this helps!

what is the life span of a rear projection tv

Without knowing exactly which make and model TV you are asking about it would be impossible to answer this question, and even with the make and model it would depend on many factors. The biggest contributing factor to any TV failing is the amount of time it is on.

Rear projection TV's have a lamp that usually has a life span of between 2-4 years, but if you purchase a Geek Squad Black Tie Protection plan with the TV it would replace your lamp for free once during the life of the plan. I hope this helps!

if I to buy a digital television in the United States it will function in Brazil?

There is actually no definitive answer for this question without knowing where exactly in Brazil you intend on using the TV. While most of Brazil uses the same AC current that TV's purchased in the U.S. are designed for (120V at 60Hz), some parts of Brazil use 220 volt electricity much like Europe does.

Another thing to consider is that TV's purchased in the U.S. are designed to display signals broadcast in the NTSC format, but in Brazil they use both the NTSC format and the PAL format depending on where you live.

I would suggest finding out what type of electricity and broadcast format the area of Brazil you intend on using the TV in uses, and then make your decision from there.

Another thing to consider is if you purchase a TV in the U.S. and it ends up breaking the manufacturer's warranty will not cover repairs done in Brazil. You would have to get it back to the U.S. and then have it looked at by their service center in the U.S. This of course would most likely cost more than just paying a technician in Brazil to repair the TV. I hope this helps!

Can you trade in a Nintendo DS Lite for a DSi and pay only pay 40$?

Best Buy® does not allow customers to trade in their old consumer electronics for new products. You could visit our trade-in site, and as long as your DS lite is in working condition you should be able to trade it in for a Best Buy® gift card that you could then use towards the purchase of a Nintendo DSi. If you want to go to our trade-in center you could go here: https://www.bestbuytradein.com/bb/. I hope this helps!

I have a 60' tv and i want to know what can I buy that will make my tv shows, dvd/vcr combo, and play station 3 sound like I am in a movie theater

which is better
-speakers system
-sound bars
-all in one home theater system
You are going to get the best results by purchasing your components separately. The components you are going to need are a receiver and a set of high end speakers. To get the theater sound experience you are going to need to get a receiver that is capable of 5.1 surround sound, and six different types of speakers. The speakers you need are two front speakers for the front left and right channels, a center speaker for the center channel, two speakers for the rear left and right channels, and a subwoofer for the bass channel. This is going to be by far the most expensive way to achieve this, and I would suggest visiting your local Best Buy® store and get advice from a home theater expert in the store.

A much more affordable option that should give you as close to the theater sound experience as possible would be purchasing a home theater in a box system. If you are a serious audiophile you might be able to hear the difference between these systems and a custom system, but he average listener will hear little difference. If you choose to go with this option I would suggest reading the reviews, and make sure to get a system that is at least a 5.1 surround sound system.

Soundbars are a convenient and space saving option, but do not provide a true surround sound experience. I hope this helps!
