Prior to the transition to digital broad cast some shows were broadcast in standard definition, while others were broadcast in high definition. The resolution of the broadcasts should remain the same as the previous analog broadcasts, but I do anticipate that in the future all shows will be transitioned over to a high definition broadcast.

Keep in mind that even if a show is broadcast in high definition a standard definition TV will only display the high definition signal in standard definition resolution. The converse is also true that a show broadcast in standard definition will only display in standard definition on a high definition TV. I hope this helps!

My feeling is that we will most likely eventually phase out all tube TV's, and the reason for this is that the vast majority of our customer's want High Definition TV's. Tube TV's are not capable of displaying a signal in High Definition.

Another reason for the demise of tube TV's is that manufacturers no longer make them, and if we can't purchase them from the manufacturer then we cannot sell them to our customers. I hope this helps!
