I want to buy a camera with an external shutter device, Who makes these?

Staff

Best Buy® does not at this time sell any external shutter devices for cameras, but you could do a search of the internet for companies that do sell these devices.

Can I buy an iPhone without adding a new line or eligibility, as in buying it as a gift?

I want to buy an iPhone for a friend, but I don't want to add a new line...

Staff

You can purchase an iPhone without signing up for new line of service, but you would have to pay full price for the iPhone. The current price of the iPhone 3G of $99.99 is the price if you sign up for a new line of service or if you are eligible for an upgrade on your current AT&T account.

Does the actual TV have to be purchased from Best Buy to have you install it?

We have a TV. But would need to purchase mount for 52 in from Best Buy.

Best Buy® does not require a customer to have purchased their TV from us in order to take advantage of our installation services. If you want to read more about what home theater services the Geek Squad® has to offer you can look here: http://www.geeksquad.com/services/tvvideo/default.aspx. If you want to take a look at the TV mounts we have available for purchase you could look here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=abcat0106003&type=category. I hope this helps!

Will there be a new iTouch coming out soon?

The Ipod Touch has been out for at least almost a year, and I'm thinking of buying an Ipod touch soon. However I don't want to buy one if a new one will easily replace it.

Also when I mean soon, I mean the next two years.

Staff

I am not aware of any new iPod Touch model, but knowing Apple I would guess that they will probably come out with a new iPod Touch in the next two years. I wouldn't delay your purchase based on this since if Apple often provides firmware upgrades for previous models that provide the new enhancements for their previous models.

Is anyone working on a Blu Ray changer?

Staff

I am sure that more than one company is working on a Blu-ray changer that can hold more than one Blu-ray disc at a time.

Is there an LCD TV with max. of 28.5" horizontal exterior size

I have a space in my entertainment center cabinet that is only 28.5 inches wide inches wide. Is there an LCD flat panel TV larger than 26 inches that will fit in that opening?

Staff

Unfortunately Best Buy® doesn't sell any LCD TV's that have a screen size larger than 26 inches that wouldn't be wider than 28.5 inches.

If you're in the market for an LCD TV larger than 26 inches you will need to purchase a new entertainment center or stand for your new TV. Although we don't sell any entertainment centers in the traditional sense, we do have a wide variety of stands. If you want to look at the TV stands we have for sale you could look here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site//olspage.jsp?id=abcat0106001&type=category. I hope this helps!

Need computer to use as I develop E-learing

I'm working on my Master's Degree in Instructional Design and wanting to eventually develop e-learning modules. So I need a computer that can deal with audio, video, and graphics as well as other kinds of media.

Staff

I would consider looking at an Apple MacBook. Apple has been the standard in the Media and Graphics industry for a long time.
