Other than the obvious four inch screen size difference there are a few other basic differences. The Samsung has four HDMI inputs, and the Panasonic has three; and the Panasonic has two S-video inputs, and the Samsung doesn't have any. The Panasonic has an input to connect a computer to the TV, while the Samsung has no such input. Another difference is that the Panasonic has a much faster refresh rate, which is how many times the TV draws the image on the screen. A higher refresh rate is much more important when talking about LCD TV’s than Plasma TV’s. I think you would be happy with either of these TV’s!

I would first make sure you are not trying to play a Blu-ray disc that is coded for a region other than the one that the PS3 was manufactured for. I would then make sure you have the latest firmware updates installed, which you can download for free on the manufacturer's website. If that doesn't resolve the issue you could try doing a system restore, and lastly contact the manufacturer and see if they can troubleshoot the issue. I hope this helps!
