These two cameras are both very similar in features, but there are slight differences. The Sony has a slightly larger LCD screen, an optical viewfinder, and a more powerful flash. The Nikon has a much larger range of shutter speeds available, and higher possible resolution. All these differences are very slight, and you should be happy with either one. I hope this helps out!
