Mythos STS in MA/RI Magnolia HT centers

Hello,
I'd like to check the new Definitve Technology Mythos STS speakers. Can you tell where in Mass or Rhode Island can I find them? Do you know other Audio Stores in these states that carry them?

We bought the Planet Earth series on HD DVD's but are unable to watch them on any DVD players that have. What is the best solution for the least $?

If these DVD's are in the HD DVD format that is no longer being mad you would need to get a HD DVD player to play this series of DVD's. If what you mean is the DVD's are High Definition and they are Blu-ray discs you would need to purchase a Blu-ray player. Are any of these DVD recorders?

I notice that under specs pretty much all of the systems mention DVD R/RW as "yes", suggesting that they have the ability to record DVDs, but I have not seen any specific mention of it while reading reviews. Does anyone know if they do in fact record DVDs?

The home theater systems that list DVD R/RW under there specifications have the ability to play DVD R/RW discs, but do not have the ability to record to DVD R/RW discs. I hope this helps out!

My insignia 32 in television displays the menu upside down

My insignia television stopped working a few months ago. There is no picture on the screen and the menu is displayed upside down. the television is ~ 15 months old.

You should have the TV looked at by an authorized service technician, and if you purchased an extended service plan on the TV the repair would most likely be at no cost to you. If you do have an extended service plan purchased from Best Buy® you should contact 1-888-BestBuy to set up in home repair service, and if you don't have coverage on the TV you could contact Insignia at 877-467-4289 to find an authorized service center in your area. As the name suggests a surround sound home theater system consists of speakers that surround the listener, which should provide a much more realistic listening experience. Can I just hook a multi-CD player to my speakers or do I also need a receiver?

I have 5 speakers from a Yamaha bookshelf stereo/CD/Cassette/Radio. Can I hook them up to a Sony multi-CD player? Does the CD player supply the wattage or do I also need a receiver?

You will need some kind of amplifier to play CD's from your Sony CD player on your speakers. A receiver comes with an amplifier built in and should work fine. One thing to keep in mind though is to make sure the output of your amplifier matches the input specifications of your speakers. I hope this helps out!
