which dvd plays both brazil and usa dvd disc

If you purchase the unit within the US, it will only have support for All Region and Region 1 DVDs ("All Region" DVDs refers to DVDs that are marked as region 0 or "Region All". This does not mean the player can play every regions’ DVDs), and Region "A" Blu-Rays.

Is this 3d?

The Samsung website shows the model bd-c6500 is a 3d blueray player, but the one on bestbuy is not. Is this a different model or is there some reason it is labelled that way?

I'm sorry for the confusion. The BD-C6500 is not a 3D BD player.

I got one of this samsung refurbish blue ray on November 2010 and it stop working, If I take it to Best Buy can they help me fix it??

Is the samsung remote rmc30c2 compatible with the samsung un55d8000y tv

i would like to use this remote with this tv and want to know will i have full funchionality when used with that tv

Although technically, the rmc30c2 should be compatible with the UN55D8000, not all the features, like screen share, will be compatible (the RMC30C2 is a 2010 remote designed specifically to work with select 2010 "C" model TVs). That said, the UN55D8000 will come included with a QWERTY remote control.

What is HDMI ?

Do I need to purchase it seperately? Whay is the cost?

HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface, which is a fancy word for the cable that you connect the Blu-ray player to your television. HDMI is a pure digital cable, which means that the picture is 100% digital and that no picture quality is lost in the transfer between the source (The Blu-Ray player, for instance) and a television display.

HDMI cables can range in price, and would be best addressed by retail salesperson.

Will this device stream media (music, photos, and videos) that are stored on my computers hard drive?

The BD-C5500 should offer the ability to stream content from a DLNA enabled device (like some PCs and even cell phones) through the AllShare feature.

c8000 settings

hello, I have the c8000 and i am wondering what the best picture settings are? At times the motion seems delayed just a bit, how do I get the smoothest most natural looking picture for motion? also what settings can I choose to get the clearest picture? Ive tried turning off the motion plus, tried custom etc. Honestly the c7000 I just returned had tbe best pic quality when it came to picture lag.

Although the Samsung TVs offer a variety of calibration options (Brightness, Color, Tint, ETC. ), unfortunately Samsung cannot suggest any specific calibration numbers since every calibration has to be done based on the preferences of the customer performing the low level calibration.
Perhaps other users on this forum may be able to better help you out.

Do any of the Samsung 55 LCD/LED 3D's have volume control leveling?

We want to keep the sound volume constant - no volume increase during ads.

As a matter of fact, all of the Samsung LED TVs will offer Sound Leveling.
