what models have pip? & what is pop?

I was wondering what models of samsung have pip and what is POP?
Thanks for the question! The Samsung LCD TVs that offer PiP are the 40" and larger B630 units. Also PoP can main any number of things, although I do not recognize what that term relates to on the Samsung TVs. Please ask another question strictly about POP and elaborate where this term was seen so I may answer it for you.

Thanks for the question! Although all Samsung TVs offer inputs for both audio and video, only audio outputs are available.

What is the difference between the B530 and B550 series?

Great question! Some of the differences between the B530 and the B550 are: 1) The B550 is Touch of Color Red, while the B530 is only black, 2) The B550 offers a higher contrast ratio, 3) The B550 offers USB2.0 which allows you to view photos and play MP3s from your usb devices.

What matters more in this tv the 60,000:1 aspect or the Hz. ?

I'll give a quick rundown on what each of these terms means in regards to the technology that is offered on the Samsung TVs, and hopefully you will be able to determine which features are best for you.
The contrast ratio is the measure of a panel brightness, defined as the ratio of the luminance of the brightest color to that of the darkest color that the system is capable of producing. The Hz refers to the frequency at which the signal is transmitted at. The standard is 60Hz, while some TVs can actually upconvert the signal all the way to 240Hz. Also, the higher the Hz, the smoother the picture will become (this is due to the TV essentially doubling or tripling the frame rate).

Can I use this tv to view Internet TV? What connectors are required to a PC?

I'm sorry, but the B530 series does not offer Internet@TV. For this feature you will want to look at the 6 series and higher models.

also, in order to setup an internet@TV enabled TV to connect to the internet, you will need a Samsung Wireless Linkstick (sold separately) and a wireless router with access to an internet connection.

can i mount this tv on a wall?

As a matter of fact, the LN40B530 can be wall mounted. You will want to use a Vesa approved wall mount with a bracket size of 200mm x 200mm.

what is the difference between 120hz and 60hz

The Hz of an image is basically the frames per second the image is displayed at, so a 60Hz image is a 30 FPS image, and a 120Hz image is a 60 FPS image. The more frames per second, the smoother the motion (especially for fast action sports or movies) and the more of the signal you will see.

USB?

Can I connect my HD camcorder up to the player through the USB to watch my recorded video?
I'm sorry, but the P1500 does not support connectivity through a USB to a camcorder or other external device. On the other Samsung BD players, there is some USB device connectivity, but none of the units support a camcorder unless the camcorder saves it's movie files as an avi format.

hdmi cablehook up?

will this hook up to my samsung 6000 series with a hdmi cable? if so will it have all audio and video in one cable?
As a matter of fact, all of the Samsung BD players offer HDMI connections for the best possible video and audio quality. That being said, both audio and video is transmitted over one HDMI cable.

720p/60h vs 1080p/120h

I will buy a new Samsung HD basically to watch HD cable, no video games, does a 120hz makes a real difference? is it true that HD cable only delivers at 60hz and 720p??
Great questions. Though the resolution of the (720p/1080p) signal may be different between all the service providers, all image signals will be transmitted at 60Hz (due to FCC regulations). The 120Hz on the Samsung TVs is actually a feature that takes the 60Hz signal and upconverts it to 120Hz. The 120Hz image makes the signal seem more lifelike and due to the nature of 120Hz, you will actually see more of the picture. This feature is great if you are the type of person that watches plenty of HD sports.
