When will it be available in-store?

I want to look at one and it used to say on the Best Buy page that in-store would be soon, but now it just says not available. Are these ever going to be available to see and buy at a store?

Can you watch a video stored on a USB stick?

Is there an offline media player to watch movies, for example, stored on a USB thumb drive when not connected to the Internet?

You most certainly can! As long as you have the saved media on a flash drive or on the Chromebook's own SSD, you will be able to access those files while the Laptop is offline.

Is the solid state hard drive upgradeable?

It works with microsoft office ?!?

when I added this to my cart, it suggested I "DO MORE WITH YOUR PURCHASE" and offered to sell me a copy of Office 2010 - WOW the version they sell at Best Buy works with Microsoft Office !!

I've started researching into these 2 devices to see which one would be best for me. However, I'm having a hard time decifering the differences. I can see that the Note comes with preloaded apps and a stylus, plus a little faster processor. What are the other benefits of paying more for the note vs. the more affordable tab?

The Note 10.1 will indeed have all of the same capabilities as the Tab 2, plus it will have a faster CPU (1.4GHz, as opposed to the 1GHz CPU on the Tab 2), more Ram (2GB on the Note 10.1, and 1GB on the Tab 2), higher megapixel cameras (5MP rear and 1.9MP front) and will offer a much more sensitive touchscreen and allow for the use of the S-Pen.

Does the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 with 32 GB extended memory display closed captioning during the viewing of movies, TV programs,etc.?

I'm sorry for the confusion, but subtitles or captions are actually controlled by the content you have saved on the Tab or from the content provider you are streaming your media from. None of the Tabs (nor any other tablet for that matter) will offer native captioning built into the tablet (since this is not a feature available on the Android OS).
