is this tv compatable with apple computers? with DISH programming?

Due to the nature of the cross compatible connectors (HDMI, Composite(RCA yellow/red/white), Component(red/green/blue), Optical), almost all devices will work with the Samsung TVs, regardless of manufacturer. There are no special converters required. Aforementioned Cables will be required for normal operation.

will tv work with a modified sine wave power source of 120 volts

All UN, PN and LN units (North American Units) will only have support for ATSC/QAM broadcasting systems and NA power systems. Since the NA TVs will not accept a PAL signal or Non-NA voltages, you will not only need a converter for the broadcast, but also for the power if you would like to use the TV in a PAL country or in a different power environment. Unfortunately, I will not be able to recommend a specific converter since Samsung cannot offer support for products we do not manufacture.

Has Samsung cured its (white snow) screen problems?

I have a 50 inch Samsung DLP, that has devoloped a snowy white screen, that is impossible to view. I was given this tv as warranty compensatin because my last one could not be repaird. I'm hesitent on purchasing Samsung for this reason. it was only years old when this started. It progressively got worse. Will Samsung warranty this situation? I would think tv's of today should last well into ten plus years as in the past, and am dissapointed with my tract record of them.

I'm sorry, but I currently do not have any information on "white screen" issues. However, as long as the TV is within its warranty period, Samsung should be able to repair the set. That said, this would actually be a better question to ask Samsung Support directly (please refer to your TV's manual for more details).

Does this tv support wifi to watch netflix?

Although this model does not have direct access to Samsung Apps (like Netflix, Pandora or YouTube), it can display App content from a 2010-12 Samsung BD player or other internet capable device (the blu-ray player/internet capable device will handle the Internet content processing, while the TV displays the content. Similar to how a monitor will display the PC’s video signal). For Samsung TVs that offer WiFi and access to Samsung Apps, please take a look at the EH5300 and the ES6100 and higher LED TVs.

What operating system is it compatible with.

The Samsung Galaxy Tabs will only offer the Android OS and cannot have any other OS installed on the hardware itself.

what kind of glasses does it use?
