Watching Blu-rays on this?
I realize that for HDTVs, to get "full" HD you have to work with your cable company and get a setup for that. However, I am thinking of buying this just solely for watching Blu-Rays in 1080p. So is there a way to set this to the HDMI setting so as to get the highest possible picture for Blu-rays? And how would you do that?
You would actually need to do nothing in order to get the best possible picture for this setup (asides from just making some personal taste adjustments within the TV's calibration settings). Since the UN32EH5000 is a 1080p TV, the panel will always display its image at 1080p. Now in some cases where the image is not 1080p, the image will be stretched to fit the screen, but for most Blu-Rays, you will not have an issue with stretching. Most, if not all, Blu-Rays offer a standard resolution of 1080p, so as long as you have the BD player connected to the TV via HDMI, you shouldn't need to adjust any settings on the TV. Some BD Players may have different resolution output options, so you may want to refer to the BD Player's manual for more details.
