Is there any video lag?

Some televisions don't support gaming consoles well and sometimes experience a slight lag. Alot of televisions have a 'game mode' but unfortunately there is almost no way of knowing until after you bought it.

Actually, the LN40E550 will indeed come with the Game Mode feature. Game Mode bypasses some of the TVs processors to give you an almost direct feed from your game system. This will help in the time it takes the signal to travel from the game system to the panel, effectively reducing the time between when you press your action button to when you see the action displayed on the screen, making for more accurate responses.

does this tv support portrait viewing?

Although the TV itself will not have an option to convert the image to portrait view, you can preconvert your content to portrait mode and then mount the TV on its side (however, Samsung cannot recommend that you mount the TV on its side).

What is the correct screw length for installing wall mounting bracket?

I want to mount this TV to a vertical wall, and the brackets I have in my kit are 1/16" thick. I know I need M8 machine screws, but am unsure of the correct length once the plastic rings and bracket are in place. I do not want to damage anything inside the TV. Can you help?

All of the Samsung TVs follow the VESA bolt specifications. That said, Samsung cannot tell you how long the screw should be because we don’t know how thick the metal on your mount is, what washers are being used, or what spacers are being used. However, we can tell you the depth of the hole on the TV. Also any VESA wall mount comes packaged with a package of screws that usually will have three lengths depending on what spacers you are using. As you probably already know, the 65" LED TVs will be compatible with a VESA M8 Bolt.

Does the Manufacturer's Warranty Still Apply?

I see Geek Squad includes a 90 day warranty, but does any warranty with Samsung still apply?

I have an older tv which has the older computer style HDMI hook-up

No, this model can be connected using HDMI, or AV-cables (Yellow video, red and white audio).

You also have a digital optical audio input as well.

Is this an international phone

I tried to register my phone on Samsung.com but couldn't. When I spoke to a customer service representative, she said I needed to check with Best Buy to see if they sold me the international version

Actually, you would need to speak to a Best Buy associate. Since I do not work for Best Buy, nor do I have access to their inventory system, I will not have the information you need. When speaking to an associate, it would also be helpful to bring your device, packaging and any receipts you might have with you so they can determine if your phone is the international version.
