Is the power supply unit compatible with 220V input? Thanks!
We strongly recommend that if you want to use this unit overseas, that you purchase a new one from that country. The reason for this is that all RS units operate on frequencies specified by the local government, and to prevent a security issue or liability you'll want to either check with that government first or avoid the possibility of interference altogether. Further, our power supplies and electronics have been optimized for use on the 110-120V, 60 Hz circuits. Best Buy and Sennheiser only sell US versions of this product including power adapters and cables in the US.

Computer use?
Can I use with bluetooth desktop/laptop
Hello-
Regarding connection to a computer: These will not connect VIA bluetooth, but instead, to the laptop or desktop soundcard/headphone plug (either or). You would simply plug these in wherever you would typically use a headphone or set of computer speakers (except these will sound better :D)

These will be available exclusively from Best Buy this fall. The earcups are positioned on a hinge that permits lateral adjustment (rotation) that comforms to the user's head. The earcups are also positioned on a verticle slider for adjustment to any head size. The earcups, however, do not swivel up or out of the way for single ear listening.

The HD 280 does not have a built-in microphone or call control for use with the iPhone. It is a fantastic studio and home headphone, but not particularly designed for portable use with the iPhone. If you had an iPhone adapter with a built-in mic, you could make this happen.

Once hooked up to a TV can one person listen through the TV and another person listen through the headset and does the headset have a volume control?

This depends on the TV. The sole job of the RS 120 is to broadcast audio to the headphones. They connect to RCA style line output jacks (those red and white outputs you find on the back of your TV) or to a headphone plug. Generally speaking, the following occurs when you connect any audio source to any wireless headphone:
1) connected to the RCA jacks: You can operate volume levels independently. You can also shut off the main speakers via a menu and continue output to the transmitter (newer components).
2) connected to the headphone jack: The speakers will automatically shut off once you plug the jack into the socket. Your volume is now dependent on the level of your component.
As stated before, it will depend on your audio source/television; the transmitter does not shut anything off or change settings...it's sole purpose is to take whatever audio signal it is given, and send it to the receiver/headphone. I hope this helps.

Headphone type?
Are the headphones themselves circumaural or supra-aural? They really look like they could be circumaural for most ears, but I can't really tell from pictures online.
Hi Jef- you stated it perfectly. The EH 150 is circumaural (around-the-ear) for most ears. Larger ears will find that the cushions barely touch the outer edge of the ear. The slightly-smaller-size earcup is less cumbersome for home recording or drumming (active use) so that they stay put and maximize isolation and comfort.

Do you have earbuds from Sennheiser that help block out ambient noise? My 15 yr old son need earbuds that are not too expensive ... since he loses them!... that block out ambient sound since he has a hearing loss.
