Can I write on the screen using just my finger instead of the pen

You absolutely can just use your finger if you like. The Surface Pro has a full touch-screen. The pen helps make drawing and writing a little less clumsy, but is by no means necessary.

Camera for my Galaxy Tab 2 7"?

I just bought the Galaxy Tab 2 7". I got the student edition because it comes with the keyboard. I don't have a camera icon already installed. Can you recommend a good camera app to download or help me find the icon if it is already on my Tab?
The camera icon should have been on one of the home pages when you first booted it up. If not, you should be able to find it by going into your apps menu. They're listed alphabetically. Hold and drag on the picture of the camera to place it on your preferred home screen. Good Luck!

is this laptop good for playing games

This will do a pretty good job of playing most games. Some of the newer ones may need to be adjusted to "low" or "medium" video settings. It has a dedicated 512MB video card, which is great!

Does this Wireless router work with the Ipad?

You shouldn't have too much trouble connecting your iPad to WiFi over this router. The router uses a standard technology that most laptops, tablets, and smartphones can connect to naturally.

Is there a mouse pad below the keyboard?

I looked at the on-line display, but I don't see a mouse pad below the keyboard.
It's a little tough to see because it blends in pretty well, but it does have a multi-touch touchpad built in.
