Should i get the 16gb or 32gb iPad first generation?

I will be using the iPad for homework, reading, saving fonts, apps (Pages and other little games) and internet. i will not be saving any music or using the camera.
what is your opinion?? thank you!

also, what is 3g?
You should be just fine with 16GB of storage if you don't intend on bringing your music library with you or saving a lot of photos.

3G indicates that your iPad has the capability of swapping data over a mobile connection like a smartphone. You typically need to pay for a mobile connection through a major carrier like Verizon or At&t and benefit by being able to connect to the internet as long as you are inside your carrier's coverage area. That way you don't need to be right next to a WiFi network to access the web.

notebook type laptop

Is there something I can buy smaller than a laptop computer - to just check my e-mail while I am away from home?
Is it called a "notebook"???
You're close! They are called netbooks and are built to be as portable as possible. Check them out at the link below.

Does this monitor have a built-in microphone?
This monitor does not have a built in microphone. You will typically find a built in microphone only when the monitor also has a built in webcam, which is itself uncommon.

Difference between coputers

What's the difference between a notebook and a laptop?
Notebook and laptop have largely become words for the same thing, so there isn't much of a difference. Once upon a time people used Notebook to mean a computer that was in a smaller, more portable class , while Laptops tended to be bigger and a little clunkier. Now there are so many options for size and weight, the distinction between the two isn't very clear.

On a side note, NETbooks tend to be smaller and more portable than traditional laptops (or notebooks). They are designed primarily for surfing the web on the go and with portability in mind, so they tend to have more modest hardware and many don't have an optical (CD/DVD/Blu-ray) drive.
