When I got it home, I immediately updated the display drivers and installed Fallout 76. I set the game to full screen with ultra settings, and it performed flawlessly at the native resolution. No stalls, screen tears, or sluggish frame rates. I have an RTX 3090TI in my desktop system, and the mobile RTX 4090 is a major upgrade. The display is gorgeous with vivid colors and plenty of brightness to play even dark, shadowy games.
The keyboard, however, is nearly unusable for gaming. While the keys are very responsive and only need a light touch to activate, the problem is that the keyboard itself is too small. There's just no comfortable way to use WASD without your hand resting on the track pad, and even then, the travel between the keys is too short. It's really easy to hit the wrong key. Since it doesn't make sense to get a heavy laptop that needs an additional keyboard for gaming, the design is flawed.
The reason for the small keyboard is the THX speakers on either side. They sound great - far superior to any speakers on a laptop you are used to. But they take up real estate that would be better used for the keyboard. I suspect most people will use headphones anyway.
One last note about the mobile RTX 4090 GPU. The key word here is "mobile" because laptops simply can't run a GPU with as much power as a desktop can due to heat dissipation. While playing Fallout 76, the fans were on high speed constantly. It's loud, but fortunately it is not an annoying sound. And it doesn't drown out the onboard speakers. With headphones, you won't notice it.
After doing some research on the internet, I discovered that the mobile RTX 4090 performs more like a desktop RTX 4080. All the specs like CUDA cores are roughly 60% of what a desktop RTX 4090 has, and in many games, the mobile version performs worse than a 4080 because of the difference in the maximum power a laptop can tolerate. So be aware that the mobile RTX 4090 is not the same as the desktop version. That said, this is the top of the line GPU you can get in a laptop, and you will probably be happy with the gaming performance.

I bought these headphones because my previous SteelSeries headphones were trying to reshape my ear into an impression of my hearing aid and glasses, and a review I read said the Arctis Nova Pro had super comfortable cushions. They are the most comfortable headphones I have ever owned. The cushions are extremely soft, and my head doesn't feel squeezed in a vice. I regularly wear them for hours at a time.
The sound quality is superb. If the game has spatial sound, I can hear critters sneaking up on me even better than with my previous SteelSeries headphones. These are worth the upgrade.
If you haven't had surround sound headphones before, you might be disappointed in the sound on a Windows PC because Windows does not include any support for it. Look in the Microsoft store for "Dolby Access". It's worth the money because when you turn on "Spatial Sound" and use "Dolby Atmos for headphones" you will get beautiful simulated surround sound. It's almost as good as the LG 9.1.5 soundbar on my TV.
The only negative is the software SteelSeries wants you to install. It works well, but it kept nagging me to use features I don't need to the point where it felt like it was sending information about what I was doing with my computer back to the company. It also popped up an ad for another model of their headphones only 2 weeks after I had bought a pair. I ended up uninstalling the app, and I lost count of all the things it removed at 30. Rough guess it was around 50 little executables that were running in the background on my computer. That's just too much for my taste. YMMV

The SANUS Elite BLT3 Advanced Tilt 4D TV Wall Mount features a revolutionary design, providing 6.8” of extension on a tilting mount. Tilt 4D advanced technology tilts in four directions. The extension allows even the largest of TVs to achieve the maximum listed tilt range. Large TVs installed on traditional tilting mounts often hit the wall, limiting the maximum tilt that can be achieved. The BLT3 solves this issue by extending from the wall, offering TVs a larger tilt range. More tilt translates to better glare reduction. This makes the BLT3 the go-to tilting mount for all above-eye-level mounting locations, like over the fireplace. Additionally, because the mount can extend the TV 6.8” from the wall, cables and wires can be accessed quickly and easily while the TV is still mounted. This makes the initial hook-up and future device switches a quick and easy process.

This is the only TV mount I buy now. I have 3 of them so far, and they were super easy to install. It pulls out from the wall about 6-7" to make cable access easy, and it takes the lightest of touch to push it back or to set the tilt.
I would recommend paying for TotalTech because not only will you get an extended warranty on the TV but also you get free TV installation.

I bought a Samsung NeoQLED 85" 4k tv 2 years ago, and I thought that was the one to beat. This 65" OLED tv is so beautiful that I am finding I prefer to sit in my office to watch it instead of going downstairs to watch the Samsung. I have it paired with the LG soundbar, and it handles 9.1 Dolby Atmos through the HDMI eARC connection with no issues. Just be sure to get the HDMI 2.1 48 GBps cables. They are not that expensive now, and anything less will limit Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

This monitor is beautiful! And large. I sit about 4-5 feet away from it, and that is what I would recommend. You will read about dimming a lot, and I found that turning off all the power saving options and turning of HDR for non-gaming usage helps that a lot. You will want to turn down the brightness too. I also have switched to dark mode on a lot of my apps, and that seems to eliminate dimming too.
In games, you'll want HDR on because it really brings out the details in the shadows. Baldur's Gate 3 is gorgeous with an RTX 3090 Ti and ultra settings.
If you are thinking about putting it on an arm, pay attention to the weight. And have someone to help you lift it it because it's very bottom heavy, and it wants to tilt over. It's only 37 lbs, but its weight is not balanced at all. I have mine sitting on a table with the stand because I couldn't find an arm I thought would hold the weight for less than $100.
I got mine through a TotalTech member sale, so I am extremely happy with the value. $1500 msrp might be steeper than I would want to go solely for gaming considering the LG C3 EVO 65" TV, which uses the same panel as the monitor, is on sale for $1599 right now.

This is a beast of a tablet. The ipad pro can handle 3D modeling, image processing, and video editing, and everything running on it is fast, responsive, and smooth. I have the pro because I need the facial scanning front camera for creating animations for a game I am developing. Besides the extra ram on the pro vs the other models, the front camera was the deciding factor for me. If you want to shoot video, the back cameras are superior to everything except a dedicated DSLR camera. The mini-LEDs in the display are the standard to beat from now on. The display is gorgeous and awesome for watching movies.

This new ipad is light yet powerful. I use it for drawing and 3D modeling, and it easily handles that. Battery life is around 12-13 hours with that workload. So far, I get 5-7 years of use out of my ipads before I need to upgrade to a faster CPU or more ram, so it is a good value too. I have never had even one ipad die on me, though. I still have the first one I bought around 10 years ago that I use as a spare e-reader.

I'm returning mine because I got a RTX 3090 Ti, but this is a very fine GPU. It runs Elden Ring at 4k with max settings as you would expect. The only concern is that my 500 square foot home office got about 5-6 degrees warmer after an hour playing Elden Ring. That's not happening with the 3090 Ti Founders Edition card I got yesterday. It's not a ding on Gigabyte's cooling because I never saw any indication of throttling while playing ER for 6-8 hours straight last weekend. I mention it because you'll want to be sure your case has good airflow.
The other thing you need to know is the card is very long. Check the specs and measure your case before you buy it to make sure it will fit.
I was planning to keep this card until I happened to walk into my local store on the day they got a small shipment of 3090 Ti's. The specs are not enough different that you would notice them if your use case is just gaming. For that purpose, it is a very good card.

The CORSAIR 5000D AIRFLOW is a mid-tower ATX case that shows off your PC, and not its cables. An airflow-optimized front panel delivers maximum ventilation to your system, while CORSAIR RapidRoute cable management makes it simple to keep cables hidden from sight. Two CORSAIR AirGuide fans offer directed airflow, and a motherboard tray with customizable fan mounts lets you install multiple 360mm radiators.

The main thing you'll notice about this case is it is *huge*. I bought its little brother about a year ago and wanted to get another one like it, but my local store didn't have one. So I bought this one since I needed to put together a new computer that day. It's heavy too.
With that size, though, comes plenty of space for fans. I have a 3 fan CPU water cooler mounted to the top, and there is room for 3 fans in the front. The case comes with a fan on the back. You should have no problems moving air in this case.
There are places to mount SSD's on the back side of the motherboard, and there's plenty of room to tuck cables out of sight for a clean, neat installation. There's plenty of room for a 750-1000 watt power supply too.
If you have a need to move lots of air, this is the case that will do it. Just be aware that it is bigger and heavier than even Corsair's next smallest case. Significantly more expensive too.

I got lucky and walked into Best Buy when they had gotten a new batch of RTX cards and got this card for *MSRP*. A couple of years from now, someone will read this review and think I'm a sucker for paying full retail on a GPU, but to get the latest GPU about a month after it was released for $1000 less than scalpers are charging pretty much made my day yesterday.
I ran the card through its paces last night with Elden Ring at 4k, HDR, and maximum graphics settings. My previous card is a RTX 2080, and while it ran ER at max settings extremely well, my 500 square foot office heated up about 5 degrees after an hour of playing. This RTX 3090 Ti did have its fans running where I could hear them, but it wasn't all that loud - maybe 35-ish db - and definitely not so loud that I couldn't hear footsteps of enemies running behind my character. My office didn't heat up as much either. When you're not playing games, the fans are just about silent.
One thing to be aware of is that this card is *heavy*. It is also quite thick and long too. You aren't going to put it in a dinky little case. It just won't fit. Looks at the specs and measure the clearance in your case before you buy it. It uses 3 screws to hold it in, and you should make those pretty tight so the weight of the card doesn't pull on the motherboard.
Speaking of motherboard, you need PCIe 4.0 16 to take advantage of the card's full throughput. If your motherboard only has PCIe 3.0, plan to upgrade it too.
Finally, the card comes with a PCIe 5.0 power adapter which takes *3* 8 pin plugs and merges them to a 12 pin power socket on the card. You will want a minimum 750 watt power supply and probably should go with 1000 watt. Get the highest efficiency you can afford too so your P/S doesn't add as much heat to the case.

On Razors site this laptops video memory is stated to only be at 16GB. Someone asked what the video memory was and they stated it was 24GB where did this number come form?

Razer's website specifies that the Blade 18 has 16 GB of dedicated ram for the RTX 4090 for both the 2023 and recently released 2024 models. That appears to be the standard for laptops.

The 24 GB is for the desktop RTX 4090 cards. That is the standard set by Nvidia for all card manufacturers. The RTX 4080 desktop cards will have 16 GB.

Dose this work with iPad

As far as I know, there are no mice which work with an iPad, but this one definitely won't because there is no way to plug in the USB receiver for it. I don't think the iPad would have the correct drivers for it anyway. If you need a mouse with your iPad, ask the Geek Squad if the Apple mouse will work. It uses bluetooth, and the iPad has support for BT devices built in. I think an Apple Pencil would be a better choice though if your finger is not a good enough pointing device.
