We have a collie, 5 adults, and 2 grandkids and hardwood floors. Our floors always have crumbs, dog hair, dust, dirt, and all the stuff which comes from an active family. "Robby" the Roomba goes in patterns we haven't quite figured out all around the 1900 square foot first floor, and it gets the stuff on the baseboards that our cleaning people always miss. We let it run every day or two. When it gets tired, it heads back to its base, charges up, and then heads out again to finish its work. I doubt we will ever be without one ever again. It really makes keeping the house neat and tidy a lot easier.

I've owned a Canon Rebel of one kind or another for 25 years, so when my daughter wanted a good camera to start learning how to take semi-professional quality pictures, I bought this one. The T6 has enough processing power to do all the fiddly parts of photography like setting the F stop, autofocus, etc. for you, but you have the option of setting those things manually as well. It is the perfect camera for someone who wants to step up their game beyond cell phones or point and shoot.
The other feature which keeps me coming back to Canon are the lenses. Canon doesn't skimp on the lenses, even on this lowest cost entry to their product line. They are crystal clear and precision ground. You will see the difference in clarity immediately. Additionally, all Canon Rebel lenses work with all Rebel frames and most of Canon's other camera lines. So if you decide you need a more powerful processor, you can buy just the frame and use the lenses which come with this kit. Or you can buy other lenses for mid-range or wide angle shots and use them on this frame. Basically once you buy a Canon lens, you can use it forever. I tried it, and the lens from my Canon Rebel I bought in 1991 works with this frame. Pretty neat, huh?
If you want to take high resolution, 20-30 fps video or super high speed slow motion, this is not the right camera. Upgrade to the T7 or T8 with their faster imaging processors. Other than that, this camera should cover just about every other use case you can imagine.

I got this laptop for personal use, and I chose it because I have the business class model for work. What impressed me with the Dell was the roughly 10 hour battery life I get using the "balanced" power settings. Windows is very responsive on those settings, and I can close the lid, stuff it in my backpack for a few days, and still have nearly the same battery left when I closed it. If you need to be untethered from a wall socket for the better part of the day, this is the laptop to get.
The only drawback of this model compared to what I have for work is the screen. The Latitude line has IPS screens which have excellent viewing angles. This laptop has an LCD screen which will get a bit washed out looking if you don't angle the screen just right. Honestly, for a sub-$400 computer with the performance, amount of ram, and 256 GB SSD, it is a perfectly fine screen. Colors look good, Netflix looks very good, and it has a fast enough refresh rate for even live sports or light gaming. You would have to pay $200-300 more to get a better LCD panel, and the benefit just isn't worth it.
Overall, this is one of the best laptops I've had out of the 30-40 I've owned or tested in the last 20 years. It's the one I throw in the backpack whenever I need performance on the go.

 Razer - Blade 18 - 18'' Gaming Laptop - QHD+ 240 Hz - Intel 24-Core i9-13950HX - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 - 32GB RAM - 2TB SSD - Black
Razer - Blade 18 - 18'' Gaming Laptop - QHD+ 240 Hz - Intel 24-Core i9-13950HX - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 - 32GB RAM - 2TB SSD - Black
The perfect combination between desktop performance and laptop design, the new Razer Blade 18 sets the bar for 18-inch laptops. Decked out with graphics up to an NVIDIA GeForce™ RTX 4090 with full TGP and the latest Intel 13th Gen Core i9 HX processors, the Razer Blade 18 is the most powerful laptop we’ve ever made. With a stunning QHD+ 18” display, crisp 5 MP webcam, and 6 speakers with THX Spatial Audio the new Razer Blade 18 brings a desktop experience wherever you decide to set up.

On Razors site this laptops video memory is stated to only be at 16GB. Someone asked what the video memory was and they stated it was 24GB where did this number come form?

Razer's website specifies that the Blade 18 has 16 GB of dedicated ram for the RTX 4090 for both the 2023 and recently released 2024 models. That appears to be the standard for laptops.

The 24 GB is for the desktop RTX 4090 cards. That is the standard set by Nvidia for all card manufacturers. The RTX 4080 desktop cards will have 16 GB.

Dose this work with iPad

As far as I know, there are no mice which work with an iPad, but this one definitely won't because there is no way to plug in the USB receiver for it. I don't think the iPad would have the correct drivers for it anyway. If you need a mouse with your iPad, ask the Geek Squad if the Apple mouse will work. It uses bluetooth, and the iPad has support for BT devices built in. I think an Apple Pencil would be a better choice though if your finger is not a good enough pointing device.
