This movie depicts the essence of the Mountain Man, Trapper of the Northwest of the 1800's and early 1900's. Hugh Glass was a childhood hero of mine, a mentor of mine in my early years. I was inspired by reading books about his life hunting, fish, trap and become a true outdoors-man. I dreamed of moving to Alaska or the Northwest U.S. and live as he and many others did. I managed to do everything except to move. Still very inspiring and a very real depiction of the life and times of the Mountain Man.
The new Multi-Touch subsystem in the new iPad 9.7" and iPad Pro gives Apple Pencil striking capabilities alongside pixel perfect precision. Using incredibly sensitive pressure and tilt sensors, Apple Pencil instantly recognizes when you are pressing harder or shifting its angle. So you can vary line weight, create subtle shading, and produce a wide range of artistic effects — just like with a conventional pencil.

The Apple pencil is amazing for the lines it produces. I have tried many companies' stylus on the iPad, and this is far and away the best. It feels like a pencil and writes like one.
However, like many others comment, Apple overlooked the need to attach the pencil and to keep track of the top while the pencil charges. They also overlooked the need to turn it off when it is not in use. Otherwise, it drains the battery of the pencil and the iPad while each waits for the other to do something.
I am careful, so I do not expect to drop the pencil or lose the top. I am pleased with the pencil. However, it could be even better.

I must say that I was a bit worried about being an early adopter for this product, but as someone that likes to "beta" test I felt like I would give it a try. Speaking from the UHD Bluray perspective, I can honestly say its fantastic. After watching "The Last Witch Hunter" and seeing the wider color spectrum and blacks so deep that it looked like the pixels were turned off it has exceeded my expectations in that category. Based on that alone and the ease of setup and speed at which the disc loaded it is definitely worth of 5 stars. I will be doing some up-conversion testing on some of my standard Blu-rays also since my collection in that format has swelled over 600 titles, and the UHD releases are still forthcoming. I cannot wait for DC, and Marvel releases to hit the format also to allow it to shine really. As a person that works at one the largest ISP's in the country, I will also say physical media it is still the way to go until those pesky data caps are a thing of the past since I burned 80Gbs downloading the Martian from MGO in 4k HDR. Great job Samsung! Also added a pic of the home screen for those that are interested see attachment.

This review is from BD disc only....the films speak for themselves....quite often I buy BDs and DVDs that arrive either scratched, poorly packaged or both...these arrived in the outside sleeve you see in picture with two disc cases inside...one has the first three films, and the other has "Legacy" inside....watched the first two movies and picture/sound quality was what I've come to expect from BD....crystal clear picture w/ sound not muted or subdued in any way....the menu is well designed, giving you many options including BDLive, Ucontrol, and Extras, but it's the extras that I've been impressed with....on first disc alone, there are alternate opening and closing scenes, extended scenes, deleted scenes, a Ludlum biography, and much more....has to be 90+ minutes of extras, if not more....at this price(app 25.00), I can't imagine getting more bang for your buck....if you're even thinking about it, buy it.

I chose this backpack because of it is sturdy construction. I wear out backpacks quickly. I am hoping this backpack lasts me for a while. I like all of the places where things can be stored.

This mini-series is unbelievable. The acting, especially two of the main actors who are starring in their first film, is top notch, full of visceral, raw emotion. The story plays out seamlessly and is both heartbreaking and beautiful. It is hard to watch but so important for us to remember. The bonds of family, the importance of culture and heritage, the resilience of the human spirit, this movie has it all. I wish it were required viewing for all college students, I wept several times during the film and was on the edge of my seat, captivated, throughout all four parts. Please watch, you will not be disappointed.
Following the record-breaking launch of NBA 2K16, the NBA 2K franchise continues to stake its claim as the most authentic sports video game with NBA 2K17. As the franchise that “all sports video games should aspire to be” (GamesRadar), NBA 2K17 will take the game to new heights and continue to blur the lines between video game and reality.

Graphics have been a been smoothed out as the skin tones of the players look a bit more realistic and not always glistening all the time. With the additional details of including different body frames including wingspan, shoulders; there is a more distinction between 6'9" lanky Kevin Durant versus 6'9" bulky Zack Randolph. Noticed the shifts are not as mechanical and there have been additional specific celebrations by players and even specific behaviors from coaches...surprised there was no JR Smith shirtless celebration!
Crowd graphics is less charade-like with a unique celebrations and sounds with a rotation of commentator. Kevin Harlan still provides play-by-play calls and Greg Anthony replaces Steve Kerr as the lead analyst. Clark Kellogg, the mainstay color commentator, is still there of course. Along with Doris Burke, there are is now CWebb, Steve Smith, and Brent Barry. Even Ernie Johnson, Shaq, and Kenny Smith is there for you in MyCareer mode.
Gameplay is pretty identical to NBA 2k16, but there have been a few adjustments.
The AI specifically the defense has been improved to adjust to individual players like Stephen Curry so you can have more freelance offenses and defense for all teams. Blocking from help-side looks more realistic, and the stealing can rely on more anticipation to knock the ball away. Still trying to take advantage of this myself.
However, it is the career mode that is pretty crazy. There are decisions that affect your playing and even more consequences that could derail or end your career. Haven't gotten too deep into it but as Michael Jordan, the actor was talking to me...I swear I thought I was watching the PG-13 of the drama

This is an excellent product. I do not like how ' has stopped including it with new computer purchases, but it is an excellent device. The design is very sleek and simple, with a pleasant contour to your hand. It feels very well built and durable.
Not only does it work with Front Row which essentially is an AppleTV style menu that browses through all of your iTunes media, photographs, and allow you to watch current movie trailers. However, it works with other programs as well. I got this in conjunction with an HDMI cable to hook up my MBP to my TV. Moreover, I can put on a movie in VLC (media player), and the remote can play/pause, fast-forward, rewind, adjust volume, and switch in and out of full-screen mode.
Can't say anything bad about this product. It is a very handy product, the price is reasonable (although it SHOULD be included with a Mac!), and it does even more than I expected.

Probably the best case you can buy for this phone.

This is by far and few between the best cell phone case I have ever owned, and I have owned a lot. The case is made of a plastic material that is grippy yet smooth. The case is slim, but the D30 material in the edges absorbs the shock like no other circumstances allowing for fantastic drop protection in a super slim case. The cutouts are precise and plenty big for any 3rd party headphones or chargers. The functionality of the case is incredible, but it is also aesthetically pleasing.
The back of the case has the smoky tint but is still slightly transparent. The check design on the back of the phone allows you to see the beautiful design of the iPhone 6 Plus, but also adds some pattern with the check design. The smoky tint pairs perfectly with my space grey version of the phone. The edges of the phone are a unique blend of orange and smoky hue, the orange being the D30 material that absorbs the shock so well.
Highly recommend this case to anyone. It is simple, slim, functional, and stylish.

Like many buyers of this scale, I've recently taken the Fitbit plunge and wanted to include this scale to track easily weight and body fat fluctuations. Visually, the scale is very impressive. I got the black version, and it is thin, sleek, and substantial (footprint, heft). The glass is perfectly smooth; edge beveled, and the weigh-in process (step on to step off) is done in less than 5 seconds. Aesthetically as well as fit, feel, and finish, this is a 5-star product.
Functionally, there are a few problems. First, connecting the scale can be a challenge. The process includes broadcasting the ID of the scale, connecting to this "WiFi network" on the phone and then switching the network of the phone back to your personal WiFi network. It took me several tries but eventually it worked and had worked flawlessly since. Unfortunately, I've forgotten the exact problem I experienced but I do recall having to switch networks while my phone displayed a web page that was reading "connecting". Anyway - see this page: [...] if you run into trouble. In contrast to this setup process, all other scale settings (users and their profiles) are very easy to setup once the scale is working correctly with the network. Additionally, I have not had any issues with connectivity once the scale was set up correctly the first time.
Secondly, the scale must be used on a hard surface. In our bathroom, a rug sometimes slips slightly under the edge of scale and can throw off the reading. If this happens, my reading can be confused with my wife's and the scale can start to get confused. Fortunately, all the readings are stored online, and the erroneous readings can be easily removed from the website. If the scale is free from the rug, it never confuses my wife and my readings.
Finally, the body-fat reading is precise but probably not accurate. By default, the scale is set to regular for a user and read my body fat read ~12.5%. After I had switched to "slim" body type, the reading dropped to ~6%. Using a handheld body fat tester, I'm around 8-9%. The good thing is that this reading, like the weight, is very repeatable. Also, it is clearly independent of the weight measurement. For example if you drink a bunch of water and wait ten mins, your weight will be up but you body fat reading may fall. Of course, what's happening is that the scale is only measuring an electrical signal and then converting this to a % body fat. Ideally, the Fitbit site would let you input your exact body fat number (taken with a vibrational or displacement measurement) at a point in time and this number could be used to calibrate the electrical to % body fat conversion. To my knowledge, no consumer scale allows this calibration to be done today. To me, it's not a huge issue as the body fat is consistent and a useful metric as I increase my lifting and muscle mass.
This leads to perhaps the greatest strength of this device; statistics. Many folks roll their eyes when you tell them that your scale uploads your weight to the cloud. However, body weight fluctuates throughout the day and week. With this scale, I've found myself weighing myself several times per day and looking at my data over a week or month, clear trend lines can be seen despite the daily fluctuations. Ultimately, this is the reason that I bought the scale and made me euphoric.
I held off on rating this scale until I had used it for several weeks. Initially, (after the setup headaches) I would have leaned towards three stars. During the first 1-2 weeks, my frustrations with body fat settings and trouble with the rug in our bathroom, I would have probably gone with four stars. However, understanding these issues and more importantly, seeing the benefits of frequent weight measurements, I could not be happier with the purchase. I strongly recommend that anybody happy with their Fitbit and serious about achieving their weight loss goals, take a good look at this high-quality product.
UPDATE: I still have the scale, and it is working great. I get about six months or so between battery changes, and it was pretty painless moving to a new place with a different network setup (even though I had completely forgotten the installation process). Overall, the Aria Scale is proving to be very easy to stick with. I cannot think of what else could obsolete this device anytime soon, so I anticipate many more years of use.
