Genuine Innovation for Serious Gamers

The Lexip - Pu94 Wired Gaming Mouse is a sophisticated accessory for serious gamers. It has a full roster of useful features that gives it the capability to be customized for very specific applications. Being able to reference (and create) a variety of profiles extends the promise of that customization to unlimited use scenarios. Even (as other reviews have mentioned) to applications outside of gaming, such as CAD.
However, this is not for casual gamers. As expected, the wide range of features and customizations bring with them a steep learning curve. Learning, customizing, adjusting and finalizing the settings takes time and dedication. For the serious gamer, it's worth it to gain a true edge - which having so many controls at your immediate call gives. For others, I'm not so sure. However, the growing number of profiles publicly available is a definite help.

Excellent Wireless Combo for Numeric Input Needs

The Logitech - MK470 Slim Wireless Mouse and Keyboard Combo is and does exactly what it claims. It also does it in a simple, straight-forward way.
I like that the keyboard is light, yet works great for typing. For my needs, the numerical key-pad is not an essential feature. However, it's nice when you need it. For those whose work-load demands regular numerical input, it is a must-have feature.
The mouse works very well and feels effortless to use.
The combo was very easy to set up and use - even on my older MacBookPro. The only thing to remember is that the wireless signal comes via a small attachment that needs to be plugged into a USB 2or3 port. In this day of USB-C ports and Hubs, those older connections are becoming less available. If that's not an issue, this is an excellent combo.

But it's also more than that. 2 key added features are ...
- A Turbo-boost button that gives a surge of added speed and power when pressed. Very useful.
- An innovative HeatSoft feature sends hot air down into whatever you're mixing. My wife loved how much easier it was for her to take a cube of butter right out of the fridge and immediately begin blending it. Now she's looking forward to using it for Thanksgiving mashed potatoes - to keep them warm while she mixes them.

State-of-the-Art Router with Smaller Form Factor

The Linksys Max-Stream MR9000 (AC3000) Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 5 Router is a full-featured modern router. It was easy to set up with the Linksys app - which also gives many options for prioritizing devices and setting parental controls.
Coverage is very good. And, although the design is the basic black box with antennas, the fact that it's overall size is smaller than usual is a big plus.
A solid offering in a more-convenient size makes this a good choice.

Totally Awesome Evolution of the Blender

The Ninja - Foodi Cold & Hot Blender is one of those kitchen appliances that makes so much sense you wonder why they weren't created earlier. Throwing a peeled, quartered onion in with a little butter and salt, pressing 'Sauté' and then, 5 minutes later it's done - wow. Then, if you're making a smooth soup, add the rest of the ingredients, push the 'Smooth Soup' button, walk away and come back 30 minutes later for some delicious hot soup - yes.
My wife and I are thoroughly enjoying it as we expand what we do with it - and learn as we go.
A couple of things to be aware of:
- The canister is heavy because it includes the heating element. This means 2 hands are normally needed. Also, because of the heating element, you should not submerge the canister or put it in the dishwasher. You can run water over it as you rinse it inside and outside, but just don't submerge it.
- It has an excellent self-cleaning mode: rinse, add 24 oz water with 2 drops of dish soap, return to base and push 'Clean'. However, I did find that using a cheese-heavy dip recipe left the canister difficult to clean even after 2 'Clean' cycles.
- The canister is heavy because it includes the heating element. This means 2 hands are normally needed. Also, because of the heating element, you should not submerge the canister or put it in the dishwasher. You can run water over it as you rinse it inside and outside, but just don't submerge it.

A True Home Espresso Machine

The De'Longhi - La Specialista Espresso Machine is an impressive piece of engineering. It brings genuine espresso wonderfulness to the home - with a helpful set of automatic features that make it simple to crank out a quick latte.
I love the way it automatically grinds the coffee beans when you put the shot holder in place and then you can tamp it down while it’s still there. The milk frothier has a convenient switch between frothing or just heating the milk. It all turns out an excellent espresso drink.
Here’s my wife’s take: “Wow. We’re gonna put You-Know-Who out of business with this. We sip lattes in our underwear now. This makes THE BEST coffee drinks ever. Even the anonymous tech-challenged member of our family conjures up lattes like a boss. Also, the machine looks like a Chrysler vintage classic—VERY cool, and the packaging equals the deluxe white cases of a certain computer company named after a fruit. Easy to use, easy to clean, and goes down smooth.” (She’s the writer in the family).
Things to Remember:
- This is not a casual purchase. Even at it’s current sale price, this is a major investment.
- Learning to use it takes a little time and concentration, especially if you’re not used to making your own espresso drinks. Once you’ve got the basic steps down, it becomes a no-brainer. Then, if you want, you can consider tweaking some of the settings and experimenting. Either way it will reward you with a primo drink.
- This is not a casual purchase. Even at it’s current sale price, this is a major investment.
- Learning to use it takes a little time and concentration, especially if you’re not used to making your own espresso drinks. Once you’ve got the basic steps down, it becomes a no-brainer. The Shark Rocket Cordless Stick Vacuum - IX141 is a great cordless stick vacuum. The power floor attachment was powerful and switching from it to the hand-held mini-vac mode was quick and easy.
It has an added turbo mode that was easy to engage and provided impressive suction. This was helpful because, when using the hand-held mode with a wand, the normal suction seemed a bit weak.
The versatility and simplicity are a big plus, as is the easy-to-dump canister.

Great Compact Portable HD

The Seagate - Mobile Drive for Chromebook 1TB Portable External Hard Drive is a light, portable drive that just works. Plug it in to your computer and start using it immediately. Transfers were fast and it is also extremely quiet. Although aimed at Chromebook users, it worked great with my Mac as well.
The only (very minor) thing I would change, for this price, would be for it to use USB 3.0 on both ends of the connecting cable so you aren’t dependent on their cable.
Otherwise this is a great, compact portable HD.

The CHEFMAN - TurboFry 3.7qt/3.5L Analog Air Fryer was delivered right around the time my grandkids came to visit. I decided to try out the easy recipe for chicken nuggets that comes with the air fryer recipe booklet. My grandson took one bite and proclaimed, “Just like Chick-fil-A!” And downed about 10.
Easy to use and clean and the basic analog controls are actually very helpful. They make it very simple to use - and, apparently, contribute to it's more affordable price.

Apartment use. Currently have a TimeWarner modem router and an extender in living room. parts of living room are slow and gaps. will these replace the modem router and will range be better?
I had a similar set-up as you describe. You will still need the modem function of your modem router to supply the internet signal from TimeWarner, but if you connect via ethernet from your existing modem router to the ORBI system, you should get a stronger system and better speed. I'm not with TimeWarner, but I had purchased and was using a modem router. After installing ORBI as described above, the strength and speed of my signal increased measurably. Remember that the wifi cannot make the speed greater than what arrives via your provider, but a better system, such as the ORBI, can bring the wireless signal closer to the actual ethernet speed. That's what it did for me.

So if it comes with two, I'm assuming you have one that internet is linked to by cable and the other is used as a extender? Or do you have to have both units hooked to cable?
You are correct. There is the Router unit, which must be connected by ethernet to your cable or dsl provider, and there is the Satellite unit which connects wirelessly with the main Router unit and extends the same signal with the same wifi name.

Will this product cover a 2000 sq. ft., one level house with only one (1) WiFi Name? The reason for this question is I'm currently using an extension to my router which has given the front of the house a different wifi name from the back of the house.
Yes. That's one of the advantages of this system versus a basic range extender, with the ORBI it's all the same wifi name. Plus, if you desire, you can pick up the satellite unit and move it according to you needs. It only takes 1-2 minutes for it to reconnect with the main router.
