Great Product for a Good Price

The Polk Audio - MagniFi Max AX soundbar and sub-woofer is great. It comes with a remote and batteries, HDMI cable, power cord for subwoofer and sound bar, and wall mount spacers. All nicely paced in styrofoam with soft covers.
The set up was easy thanks to the included instructions. The packaging gives a QR code for video instructions, but after multiple tries and time exploring the Polk Audio site, I never could find the videos. Thankfully they weren't needed.
Once the setup was complete, we were treated to an amazing sound experience. Listening to music was so nice and clear allowing you to enjoy all the sounds and instruments. The sound quality when watching video was excellent. You could feel the thunder in the 'Our Planet' episode we watched. Also, the voice adjust and night modes worked very well. It seems those kind of features have experienced a marked improvement in recent years.
Even without the optional extension speakers, the surround-sound effects were impressive. At times I thought I was hearing sounds outside only to realize it was from the movie I was watching.
Sound bars and sub-woofers have come a long way from the early days of muffled bass and enhanced volume. With that has come a much better price-to-performance ratio. This product is an excellent example of that.

Great Features for Good Price - But Issues for Mac

Adobe - Photoshop Elements 2022 for MAC (not Windows) is pretty much a no-brainer purchase decision - especially at its current sale price. With so many features and options in one program, it's hard to find a comparable alternative.
That said, there are a few things to consider:
• If you already have a copy of Photoshop Elements within the last couple of years, there's really no reason to upgrade.
• If you have not used an Adobe product as a Mac user before, you need to know that this is not intuitive software or 'Mac-like'. Once you move beyond the automatic features, it will leave you in unfamiliar territory. However, if you put in the time, you will eventually find yourself editing photos like a semi-Pro.
• I should mention that it also had trouble handling the basic format of photos in iPhoto. Not sure why, but it kept wanting to convert from 16-bit color, to 8-bit color, which then limited the number of special effects and other features which were available while editing the converted photo. And these were brought in directly from iPhoto. FYI My Mac is a recent Intel model.

Solid Router - But Not Recommended

The ARRIS - SURFboard mAX Pro Wireless-AX6600 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System is, for the most part, a very good wifi router solution for covering a large home area.
Set-up was straight-forward and simple. Just follow the directions given by the SURFBoard Central app. However, for some reason, it did not accept the activation code sent via email until the 3rd code was sent. Other than that, set-up was a breeze.
Coverage is excellent and I appreciate the signal speed and strength tools.
Unfortunately, for me, there is one big flaw that keeps me from recommending this unit: No real parental controls. The only thing you can do is create a profile and then 'pause' internet. No filters. No automatic time schedule. No options. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend a wifi solution that does not give parents the means to protect their kids. Even for those who have no children in the home, I recommend having parental control options for the sake of the children of friends and extended family who visit. To be honest, I was very surprised to see this feature missing. It's such a standard on other routers I've set up over the past 5 years that I almost did not check it before writing this review.

Surprisingly Powerful with Space-saving Design

At first glance you are greeted with a thin sleek kitchen appliance, a touch of modern appeal and with claims to brown and crisp from edge-to-edge pizza and virtually everything you throw at it with its searplate.
Cooking a frozen pizza was faster than a traditional oven and the result was even better. Following the print instructions, pre-heating the searplate was key, after that I reduced the cooking time in half. The result: one perfectly browned and crisped pizza, which could be mistaken for having been cooked in an authentic brick oven. This appliance performed so well with cooking pizza, I would recommend it based on that function alone.
The air fry basket was appropriately sized and held up to a half batch of french fries, chicken nuggets and spring rolls all at once. The wire mesh appears to be 'light duty' and shows signs of metal deflection.
For the bone-in chicken thigh test, searing a full sheet of chicken thighs and baking for 35 mins turned out wonderfully moist and with color. Immediate clean up is needed as oil spatter happens quick and coats the inside of the appliance.
No excessive heat was noticed, a plus especially during warming weather, while baking two evenly browned pumpkin pies.
The main control panel/button configuration was easy to use and the layout clearly marked, no complaints.
Innovative and smart engineering was noticed in the well-balanced base hinge, the fact that the internal fan continued to run after the cook time was over, aiding the unit to cool-down, and the internal auto 'light “off' feature.
Draw backs – (1) air fry basket appeared “light duty” (2) Hard to clean/wipe down the inside of the appliance after oil splatter (3) oil splattered on the upper heat elements, durability concerns.
Overall, whether you are air frying, crafting a sheet pan dinner or baking dessert, the Ninja Foodi Dual Heat Air Fry Oven was surprisingly powerful, browned evenly, delivered on its promises, and exhibited a smart space saving design with a well-balanced pivot base point. I would recommend this product to anyone.

A Great Choice for a Humidifier

The Pure Enrichment - MistAir Silver 0.4 Gal. Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier is an excellent choice. It has the addition of smart features as described in the accompanying manual, and I appreciate the extra long cord as so many new appliances are severely deficient in the cord department ( Note: keep the cord away from cribs, Or any possible access to children).
I also like its size, as it does not take up much space, and is lightweight making it mobile. It's also easy to fill. This is not only useful in cold and flu season for congestion, but we love it as it delivers just the amount of moisture in our dry desert environment.

Excellent In-Ear Headphones

The Jabra - Elite 7 Pro True Wireless Noise Canceling In-Ear Headphones have been great for me.
They fit comfortably and were easy to pair. I also find that pressing them for controls is more comfortable than with others I've used. The app was easy to use and I appreciated the personalized equalization feature that essentially gives a frequency-hearing test and adjust accordingly.
The sound is awesome. I don't actually get a chance to just listen to music that often, so when I did, it was wonderful.
The only, very minor, complaint I have is that there is no notch on the charging case to make opening it easier. It fits so snug that it takes extra effort to lift up the lid.
Very pleased with the Jabra - Elite 7 Pro True Wireless Noise Canceling In-Ear Headphones.

The HP - Smart Tank 7001 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer is a good choice for a solid, all-purpose printer-scanner-copier. It was very easy to set up and begin using. Installing the cartridges and filling the ink tanks was simple and provides enough ink to last a long time. Refills are definitely more economical that using ink cartridges. Wifi and app were similarly easy to set up and begin using immediately.
I like the simple design, relatively small footprint, ample paper feed, and excellent print quality.
No complaints at all, but the price does put this in the "thoughtful purchase" category, rather than the "easy-to-buy" one.

Affordable Entry Level Product

The Blink - Video Doorbell - Wired or wire free, Two way audio, HD video and Alexa Enabled - is a lower-cost option for having a video doorbell.
Setting up Blink with its app is simple and quick. The video quality is very good. Notifications and recorded video within the app on my iPhone were also very good. It does require a Sync Module 2 (sold separately) and/or a monthly subscription to unlock all of its capabilities.
Like others, I do wish there were options for the doorbell sound, but that's a minor issue for me. Also like others, I did find it very hard to properly attach the main unit to the back. And then, when trying to uninstall it (I wanted to try it out at multiple locations), I found it nearly impossible to un-attach. I am using it wirelessly with batteries and would normally not have to un-attach to change batteries except for once every other year. Still, I feared I would break the unit while using the included tool to remove the back.
All-in-all I have mixed feelings about this product: It certainly does the basics well for an affordable price. Because of this, it is probably a good choice for someone who is just entering into the video doorbell arena. I would expect, as your home becomes more connected overall, you will consider upgrading your doorbell in the future.
As a result, my recommendation for the Blink - Video Doorbell - Wired or wire free, Two way audio, HD video and Alexa Enabled - is as an entry-level product.

Great Solution as a Basic Deterrent and Tracker

The Yale - Smart Cabinet Lock with Bluetooth is a great solution for specific needs.
As has been noted by others, the primary use scenario for this lock would be for keeping medicine secure from children. Young children would not be able to open the cabinet - and teens would be deterred by the fact that you have a record of if, and when, it was opened. If you add the Yale Connect option (not included with this version), you would be notified as soon as the cabinet has been opened.
I should add that this would also be helpful for those caring for their elderly loved ones. I wish I'd had it when we were caring for my parents and they were at the stage when they could no longer remember whether or not they had taken their meds. We needed to monitor their doses and make sure they could not locate where the meds were kept. This would have provided a perfect solution.
As for set-up, it's very easy to work with the app and get it connected. The physical install will largely depend upon the particulars of your cabinet door and hinge. The fact that it comes with a few modifying options for installation was very helpful.
Other than the caveat that this is more of a deterrent than an unbreakable physical barrier, this is a great solution for a specific need.

Excellent Solidly Built Wired Controller w/Lights

The PowerA - Spectra Enhanced Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S - Spectra Infinity is a great controller. The first thing I noticed was a big bump up in the quality of build as compared to my other controllers. This is SOLID - more heft and the buttons have a quality feel. All of this gives a sense of durability and precision. I really like this.
The added features just give more reasons to enjoy this controller. Extra buttons for extra features - and I definitely appreciate the on-controller volume/mute control for wired headphones. Then add the lights, which are bright and can be programmed to suit your taste.
I have enjoyed my wireless controllers and thought a wired controller would be a step back. However, the build and responsiveness of this controller quickly overcame those concerns. It's now my go-to controller.
All of this adds up to a great choice for a wired XBox controller.

Apartment use. Currently have a TimeWarner modem router and an extender in living room. parts of living room are slow and gaps. will these replace the modem router and will range be better?
I had a similar set-up as you describe. You will still need the modem function of your modem router to supply the internet signal from TimeWarner, but if you connect via ethernet from your existing modem router to the ORBI system, you should get a stronger system and better speed. I'm not with TimeWarner, but I had purchased and was using a modem router. After installing ORBI as described above, the strength and speed of my signal increased measurably. Remember that the wifi cannot make the speed greater than what arrives via your provider, but a better system, such as the ORBI, can bring the wireless signal closer to the actual ethernet speed. That's what it did for me.

So if it comes with two, I'm assuming you have one that internet is linked to by cable and the other is used as a extender? Or do you have to have both units hooked to cable?
You are correct. There is the Router unit, which must be connected by ethernet to your cable or dsl provider, and there is the Satellite unit which connects wirelessly with the main Router unit and extends the same signal with the same wifi name.

Will this product cover a 2000 sq. ft., one level house with only one (1) WiFi Name? The reason for this question is I'm currently using an extension to my router which has given the front of the house a different wifi name from the back of the house.
Yes. That's one of the advantages of this system versus a basic range extender, with the ORBI it's all the same wifi name. Plus, if you desire, you can pick up the satellite unit and move it according to you needs. It only takes 1-2 minutes for it to reconnect with the main router.
