Great Computer!

This is a great computer! It is my first windows machine since my Alienware from before Dell bought them out. It works great. It is not as fast as my iMac and not as easy to use, but that is windows' issues. Also the gaming is not as consistent, e.g., I have to change audio settings between games (again a windows problem). But the computer works great straight out of the box. It is beautiful. The graphics are awesome. Even my wife when she came in and saw them commented how detailed they are. I have only two minor comments: (1) a manual or illustrative figure would help to understand the ports and what I need to hook it up and (2) I wanted a full sized ATX board (and it came with one) but no where on the Best Buy or iBuyPower websites did it identify that feature. Would I buy another one? Definitely YES! Totally impressed.

Perfect Complement to iMac!

The only problem with the iMac is that the keyboard does not have a numeric keypad. When you deal with numbers a lot, it is really needed. The Belkin wireless numeric keypad is the perfect solution. It leaves the keyboard small and as a separate piece, they can be placed wherever it is most convenient. It works flawlessly and is easy on batteries. Don't buy a iMac without one!

This new keyboard connects directly with the iPad Pro, has a great "feel" to the keys, works great, and draws it meager power from the iPad Pro, thus only having to keep one item charged. This replaced my MacPro, which is a great computer. I have no complaints about it, BUT this new iMac is super fast start up, neat and clean (no cables cluttering the place), and the fusion drive means that the frequently used applications start very quickly. I thought I would not like the new keyboard and mouse, but I do. The only missing piece is the numeric keypad, which Belkin has stepped up to take care of. Also, the transfer from the MacPro to the iMac, via the Time Machine was effortless (but because of all my "valuable stuff", was not quick). There should be a six-star category for the iMac!

It is easy to use and, if you are like me, you get your tax information a little at a time. This program makes it simple to add the new information when you get it. The only trick is that you must leave $1 in every category (dividend, interest, charitable organization, etc) or it will delete those that you have not provided a dollar amount. This is not bad (but a nuisance) but it means that you need to review for $1 items manually before finalizing the return. Otherwise, great.

I do not know the answer to the first question, but the button to the right of the F15 key checks the charge on the keyboard. You will notice to its right is a smily face and a frown. When you press the button, a green light comes on indicating adequate charge (smily face). Inadequate charge is the lower red light.
