THIS IS A UNIQUE VACUUM

This is a convenient and fun to use vacuum. This vacuum is also designed and made with quality materials. The charger is smaller than I had expected, but it is nice to have a small charger that does not take up much space. The lithium battery has a release lever that is simple to press and the battery lifts off of the vacuum easily. The battery has a set of 4 indicator lights that show the level of charge while it is in use, and also shows the status of the battery while charging. When the lithium battery is charging, the lights flash, and when charging is complete, all 4 lights remain lit. I really like the battery and charger that comes with this vacuum.
The plastic that this vacuum is made out of, is the same type of plastic that my more expensive vacuum is made of, which is a good thing.
The underside of the vacuum has a rubber flap, which seals the vacuum to the floor and allows maximum pick up for the medium amount of suction that this vacuum has. The result: If this vacuum is being used on medium to thick carpet, then the rubber flap scrapes the ground and causes a noticeable amount of friction. This vacuum does glide noticeably easier on low carpeting.
I am using this vacuum on medium high carpeting, and I would describe it as needing to be kind of dragged across the carpeting, compared to a more simple rolling across the carpeting. An older and weaker person might not be able to drag this vacuum over medium or thick carpeting very easily.
The fact that this vacuum has a rubber sealing flap that sits so low to the ground, does kind of make it necessary to drag it across medium to thick carpeting, but it also results in this vacuum sucking up dirt that is deep into the carpets.
It might be possible to cut off 1/16 of an inch from the bottom rubber sealing flap, to reduce the friction this vacuum has when it is being pushed and pulled over medium to thick the carpeting.
The button that releases the handle to its extended position, is easy to press and the handle locks in place securely.
The swivel action on this vacuum functions quite nicely.
The dust bin on this vacuum is not the same as on most modern day cyclonic vacuums, there might be a cyclonic action to the dust bin, but it is not in the exact same way. The dust bin has an inner foam filter which actually directly traps the finer dust that is not trapped by the inner plastic grill, because of this, this is not considered a no loss of suction vacuum. It does not really need to be though, regular cleaning of the dust bin will keep the suction at an optimal level.
For the most effective dust bin maintenance, the inner foam filter should be cleaned with water every time the dust bin needs to be emptied.
I live in small trailer, and I vacuumed the carpets in my entire trailer over 3 times with one battery charge, then when the battery power finally ran out, I emptied the dust bin.
I would say that with average use, for me at least, the battery in this vacuum would last around 1 month worth of vacuuming, and the dust bin would need to be emptied and cleaned once a month.
If you have a household with more than one person, the dust bin on this vacuum might need to be cleaned more often.
Because this vacuum can be grabbed and used quickly for a vacuuming session, without having to hassle with unwinding and plugging in a cord, I find myself vacuuming more often.

THIS IS A REALLY WELL BUILT SMART PHONE

This is a review of the Google Pixel’s build quality.
All of the other smart phones I own are made mostly of plastic, in comparison the Google Pixel is made much better and has an all aluminum and glass exterior.
The USB type-c charging cables and adapter included with the Pixel are really nice. The cables are thicker than most USB cables, and are made out of a more premium rubber, or rubber like material.
The power and volume buttons have really nice clicks.
The camera on the pixel is great and snaps good pictures in low light conditions. The LED camera flash is actually two LED’s angled in different directions, which illuminates an area better than an LED camera flash that points straight forward.
The fingerprint sensor on the back is bigger compared to other fingerprint sensors I have seen, and it makes it easy to unlock the Pixel without even having to press the power/standby button. I was expecting to have to press the power/standby button to turn the screen on, then use the fingerprint sensor to unlock it, but all that is necessary is to touch the fingerprint sensor for a second, and this quickly turns the screen on and unlocks the Pixel.
The 5” screen size on the smaller version of the Pixel, is easier to carry and fits in the pocket better than a bigger phone would.
The 1080p touch screen on the Pixel is really nice and is covered with Gorilla glass 4.
The Google Pixel has an overall luxury feel to it.

Well Designed Bluetooth Headphones

I am rating this Bose product at 3.5 out of 5 stars.
These Bose SoundSport wireless earphones are comfortable in the ears and can be worn for many hours in a row with little to no ear discomfort.
The battery only lasts for around 5 hours, depending on overall listening volume, but the charging time is fairly quick, and these headphones have good quality sound that you would expect from a Bose product.
Both the left and right headphone are easy to hold and almost seem like they were designed to have small handles on each headphone, making each headphone easy to grab and place into the ear.
The Bluetooth pairing process is quite quick with these Bose SoundSport headphones, once the headphones have been paired with a device, they connect quickly after being turned on.
There is a micro USB cable provided, but no USB charging adapter, that was kind of unexpected, a USB charging adapter would have been a really nice addition.
These headphones were designed to wrap around the back of the neck area, but I found that allowing the cord to dangle down in front of the shirt area, is another way to wear the headphones, which allows the microphone to points closer to the mouth and picks up sound better.
There is a silicone flap that is covering the micro USB port on the right under side of the Bose SoundSport headphone, once the silicone flap is pulled out, it cannot be turned to the side very far, which makes plugging in the micro USB cable slightly challenging. The silicone cover should have been designed to swivel 180 degrees once it is pulled out, so that it is completely out of the way of the charging port. (I am deducting 1/2 star for this charging port cover issue.)
When reviewing a product, and deciding upon an overall rating score, I figure in the selling price of a product, this is the value factor, having said that, there is not much to these Bluetooth headphones, and so I feel as if the selling price should reflect that.
Having a beginning selling price of $149.95, I feel as if this is too much for a product that is so tiny, and I am removing 1 star for this reason, if the beginning selling price was $99, then I would have given this Bose product a 4.5 star rating.
Considering that the build quality and design of these Bose SoundSport headphones is almost certainly better than the current market competition, I guess that makes up a bit for the slightly high selling price.
If you are looking for a comfortable and good sounding pair of Bluetooth headphones made by Bose, then the SoundSport wireless headphones might be a good choice for you.

This is a really nice tablet for the price range.

I have owned several mid to high range tablets in the past several years, and so I have experience using tablets, and have something to compare this tablet to. This tablet holds better in the hand than another 8" tablet that I own, the side bezels are smaller, and so it is a bit easier to grab, compared to a slightly wider tablet.
The power and volume buttons are on the upper right area, and have a nice feel to them. The charging port is on the top area just above the camera, I did not expect that, but it charges just as easy as the more common lower area charging port.
This tablet does have both 2.4 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz connectivity, as well as Bluetooth 4.0.
This tablet has Android 5.1 and has the built in Google Voice search app, which has the newly added music identifying option. When opening Voice Search, at the bottom right is a music note, click on it and the app will identify music that is playing, this option requires internet connectivity to function. Previously it was necessary to download a separate app to identify music.
The camera on the back does stick out a small amount, it does not bother me at all, and it kind of makes the tablet raised up just a bit when it is sitting down, making it a bit easier to pick up, compared to a tablet that sits completely flat.
This tablet has 16 Giga Bytes of built in memory, and also a Micro SD card slot to add more memory.
Overall, this is a really nice tablet for the price range.

There is not much to a range extender

This review is based upon several aspects, comparing this product to other range extenders, and taking into consideration the limitations of the range extender technology.
If asked would I suggest this range extender to other people, it is necessary to consider how much is the price, and is it a good value compared to other technologies available at that price point. That being said, I would not suggest this range extender at its current price point.
Upon writing this review, this range extender is listed on the Linksys website for $149.99
These days you can buy a really nice wireless router for around $200, that being said, a really nice router has way more technology inside it, compared to a much simpler range extender.
If I was the manufacturer of this range extender, I would disregard the market prices of other range extenders, and I would place a reasonable beginning price of $79 on this range extender, and this is only because it is a MIMO capable range extender, if it was not a MIMO capable range extender, I would have a starting price of even less. There is simply not much to a range extender, the selling price of a range extender should reflect this.
A range extender if used at all, should be used with a decent quality wireless router to start with, if you do not have a quality router sending a signal of sufficient strength to begin with, then spending your money to upgrade to a better wireless router, might achieve better results, compared to trying to extend the range of a weak or average wireless router signal.
All this being said, I do have a really nice router, and pairing it with this range extender, did increase my download speeds at a tested extended distance, but it was not enough to the point of me being really impressed with the overall results, of which if I had tested a lesser quality range extender, I would have been even less impressed.
There is simply a limitation of the range extending concept, this limitation is that when a router sends a signal to a range extender, the range extender then has to transfer that signal, and the transferring of the wireless signal results in a loss of data transfer speeds.

This is a really well made router, it has a surprising amount of heft to it, which is a good thing, because it is obvious that it has plenty of quality electronics packed inside.
I decided to weigh it on a digital scale to see how much it weighs, it is 39.46 ounces, which is 3.9 pounds.
This Linksys router it has quality buttons and a nice rocker switch for the on/off switch.
This Linksys router has perfectly straight fitting labels, which is always a plus, as products with sloppily placed or misfitting labels, have a tendency to have a cheaper feel to the product.
There is nothing about this Linksys router that is cheap, the entire product is very well made, it even has nice rubber pads for the feet.
I am comparing this Linksys router to a competitor's router, which is similar in appearance, functionality, and price, I will not say the brand name of the competitor.
This Linksys router is being released after its competitor, and it appears as if it was purposely designed to be better in a few ways. First, this router has a total of 8 Ethernet ports, the competitor router has only 4, this Linksys router has two USB ports, one is USB 3.0 and one is USB 2.0, the competitor router has only 1 USB 3.0 port.
The browser based administration tool for this router is easy to setup and use.
This is a Mimo router, which means it is designed to handle multiple in and multiple out signals very well.
The fact that this Linksys router is priced similar to a major competitor, with equivalent build quality and a few upgrades, makes this a good choice for a router.

The AirGenius 3 is mostly the same as the AirGenius 5, I actually like the AirGenius 3 a bit better, I never used the timer on my AirGenius 5, I also never turned on the accent lighting, and I did not prefer the touch style of buttons that the AirGenius 5 has.
I had my AirGenius 5 placed on a top shelf, so that I had to reach up high to turn it on, the power button on the AirGenius 5 is a standard button, so it was easy to press the power button to turn it on, but the speed changing button being a touch sensitive button, I had to sort of remember its location, and changing speeds was sort of a hassle with no physical button to feel and press.
Having had the newer AirGenius 5 and now the AirGenius 3, both have had a strange smell fresh out of the box, it was either a new plastic smell, or maybe a new motor smell, it is a bit annoying, but the smell does eventually dissipate.
This line of Honeywell AirGenius air filters, is indeed effective and requires no additional purchase of costly Hepa filters, it does require a regular effort of cleaning the electrostatic filter and the foam pre-filter, but if you are the type of person who does not like to buy hepa filters and you have the time to clean the Honeywell filters, then this should be a good air filter for you.
I clean the Honeywell filters in the shower area, I have a shower wand that has the adjustable water flow, I turn the flow onto a concentrated setting and the water on high, and the flow of water is all I have ever used in cleaning the Honeywell filters, of which I leave the pre-filter in the back cover and flush the dust back out the way it came in. I would suggest to never use really hot tap water when cleaning the AirGenius filters, just medium warm water, as I have had plastics crack from the sudden flow of hot tap water.
Overall this is a great air filter that is quite effective.
Who knows, maybe Honeywell will improve this product in the future and add a remote.
Even with the inconveniencing strange odor when this product is new, I feel as if it is still one of the best air filters on the market today.

This humidifier has a water pump that transfers water to an upper tier section where the ultrasonic transducer is located, it creates water vapor through ultrasonic vibrations, and a fan in the bottom of the unit blows air upward causing the humidity to blow upward from the top of the unit.
This humidifier is definitely simpler to fill with water compared to some other humidifiers, all you have to do is fill a container with purified or distilled water and pour it into the top of the Honeywell.
I customized my Honeywell humidifier with a rectangular piece of plastic that I cut to fit the top shape of the humidifier, it protects dust buildup that would otherwise fall into the water reservoir.
This Honeywell humidifier does spatter a bit of water onto the top of the unit when it is humidifying, this is only because the ultrasonic transducer is located near the top. This water spattering is slightly annoying, but if the humidity dial is turned down, the water spattering reduces to almost nothing on the lowest setting.
This water spattering effect does not happen with ultrasonic humidifiers that have the ultrasonic transducer located near the bottom, but those units do not have a water pump, which has an overall positive effect of constantly mixing the water in the reservoir, and also causes less gunk to build up directly on the top of the transducer, since the water is flowing when the humidifier is on.
This humidifier does not have a humidistat, so it needs to be turned off once the humidity has risen to the desired level, but in my experience with humidifiers having humidistats, is that since the humidity is emitted from the device, built in humidistats usually are way inaccurate because the humidity directly surrounding the humidifier rises more than in the rest of the room.
In my included pictures, you can see a green/blue colored X-Power fan pointing upwards, this has an invaluable effect of blowing the humidity upward and dispersing it far into the room.
I also have my humidifier plugged into a remote controllable appliance module, it has a small remote with an off and on button, and the appliance module is a small rectangular device which plugs into the wall outlet and the humidifier plugs into it. With this seutp, all I need to do once the humidity rises, is press the off button and the humidifier turns off, of which I have an indoor thermometer which also has a hygrometer, and it displays the room’s humidity level in percentage, I find that around 50 – 55 % humidity is optimal.
Room digital thermometers which have a hygromter, and remote controllable appliance modules can be purchased at most home improvement stores.
Quite a few other humidifiers available, cost quite a bit more and are also more high maintenance, it is mostly the water filling process that is a hassle with humidifiers having water tanks needing to be removed from the unit, before the tank can be filled.
Do not expect the best results if ever trying to use plain tap water, as this will cause the impurities in the water to be expelled in the mist, and it will produce a white layer of dust throughout the room, this is common to all ultrasonic humidifiers. PURE WATER = NO WHITE MIST
This humidifier does not have any hard water deposit filters, so always use purified or distilled water, and this will avoid hard water deposits that will occur if using plain tap water.
Overall this is a nice humidifier.

This product is obviously for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, of which one of the nicest things of the Note 3, is that for such an impressive smartphone, it is unbelievably light, add this cover, and it adds a bit of weight. That said, it has a nice stainless steel plate under the plastic, that plate gathers the electronic field and charges the battery, so the stainless steel plate is where the weight comes from. This item is also thicker than the stock battery cover, of which the camera protrudes a little bit with the original battery cover, so this wireless battery cover adds thickness and makes it so the camera is recessed a little bit. It makes it so that the entire bottom of the phone sits plush on any surface, as opposed to the camera hitting first.

Before I had purchased this NetGear router, I had previously owned a NetGear router, of which I was sort of surprised to find that the settings interface had not changed much from my several year old router. That is not altogether a bad thing, after using the router I found that it was more of the fact that NetGear routers already had pretty well laid out settings screens, but I think this product could benefit if the settings screen was redesigned to look more appealing, and to make it have a look that is different from their older routers.
This router does have a dual core 1 ghz processor, compared to the more expensive competition, it is a slightly faster processor, so that is a plus. The 1 year warranty on NetGear routers, could be extended to 2 years and this would be more appealing to customers, some other brands of routers have 2 year warranties. The one thing that I had used most of all on my previous router, was the ability to add a customized name to devices that are attached. Surprisingly NetGear removed that capability from this router, not sure why, maybe that feature will be added again with future firmware upgrades. This router does have a good WiFi range, but it does not allow you to customize the broadcasting strength of the WiFi signals, that is a functionality that other competing routers have, some people might not need it in a router.
Overall, this router performs well. I returned it back to the store and bought the new Asus router, afterwards I found that this NetGear router did appear to have a slightly stronger WiFi signal compared to the the new Asus router, but overall I prefer the overall package of the Asus router in comparison.

Gaming computers have a tendency to use more CPU than is required for basic processing tasks, which results in a hotter running computer. I would not suggest an all in one type of computer for gaming, the air flow on al all in one computers is not sufficient to allow a gaming compter to keep cool enough.
A gaming computer normally has more cooling fans than most computers, and will last longer for gaming needs.
