Needed to upgrade my computer as mine and Microsoft's multiple hidden attempts to upgrade it failed despite being a capable system, unlike wife's ancient 15+ y/o system. Nothing like a fresh install on a Skylake i7 to resolve issues, and wife gained an upgraded system with the 4 y/o Sandy Ridge i7 parts.
Opportune as getting use to Windows 10, my 78 y/o mother called and was totally lost as Microsoft surprised her one morning as she turned the computer an and discovered an involuntary upgrade. Had to alter my schedule with a 70 mile trip to go get her set up.

As part of a total upgrade build, new graphics card and everything. Superb! For a while running 2 CPU's as I built out a second computer, using both DP and HDMI inputs. True it doesn't have auto-switching to the input source as many have complained, but you don't have to go through monitor shutdown procedure that they allude to. First button (YES, physical buttons!) above the power switch bring up the menu to manually select the input source. Likewise, was very easy to calibrate with my Spyder5.

I am not a gamer but require a performance graphic card for video rendering. First choice are Nvidia cards due to Adobe's utilization of the CUDA core technology. This is an excellent choice for an intermediate specification card and a great compromise for anything short of 'the ultimate gaming experience.' Phenomenal price/performance and inexpensive enough that won't feel bad upgrading in a few years as technology advances. Only caution, this is a long card so will need space, but should be fine if no hard drive is mounted in line with the PCI-E slot.

Refuse to use generics after destroyed a different (inkjet) printer. Premium priced, as usual, but gain peace of mind. Nationwide HP ink sales are absurd, where usually "2 for" and a multipack counts as one item. Who really needs 2 blue toners as they typically won't let you mix and match when a week after this purchase I bought a magenta toner which I knew was low when I bought the blue. Best Buy actually has the best deal, but don't know if it is limited to Elite Rewards customers. Recycle my old toner (and ink cartridges) at the office supply stores but they are tightning up their policy and may have to buy at least one cartridge there in 180 days (a $12 Canon single color ink) for the $2 recycle store credit.

If used “wired”, is there such a thing as a 25’ wire? What kind of battery does it take? If battery is not replaceable, how much does it cost to replace? How do you charge the battery? If USB cable, can that connect to the Sony TV, Model XBR-55X850D?
Good luck finding any wire, short or 25' long. Most headphone use a 3.5mm audio jack on both ends. Bose, in their wisdom, elected to keep one side the industry standard 3.5mm so could plug into something, but elected to downsize the jack on the headphone to 2.5mm. Best Buy does not carry any 2.5 to 3.5 cables, but can find some online, but not certain about the 25' length. The USB cable is for charging and transmits no audio, so youd do little good hooking up to a Sony TV...other than charging the headphone.

Most recent Apples that are Intel based can read and write to a Windows formatted drive. In fact I have a Lacie portable hard drive with the primary partition formatted for Apple OSX, but a decondary partition formatted for windows. I have to move files into that partition if I want to have Windows see it for transfer, while Apple can see both formats.

compatiability
i have a Lenovo k330b desktop. I wonder if this grahpics car would be compatible with it.
Couldn't find manual on Lenovo site so will require taking cover off to look. From specs, appears that is a Core i3 machine using on-board video. Yes, this will be a significant upgrade. Now, with the cover off, to see if will work...
1) The first two PCI-E slots (from center of computer - not bottom) should be free. You plug into one but physically requires 2 slots. (If occupied - which doubt, would be another video card and your monitor cable comes from it, but will be discarded). This is a long card so make sure has clearance to fit lengthwise.
2) Power Supply. Manufacturers are notorious for putting in barest minimum power supply so may need to upgrade. Card specs state 400w required and should be sufficient on an i3 machine but suggest 600w. Make sure the existing power supply has a spare power line for the card, either 6 or 8 pin, adapters are included.
3) Finally, disable the on-board video. Relatively easy and should have instructions from Lenovo manuals or a support ticket.
