Extremely versatile groomer for guys

This groomer/trimmer does just about everything. I have 4 different trimmers for various body parts, ie, nose, beard, body hair, and my head, but not anymore! This trimmer does everything my now-obsolete trimmers did. The battery life is great and I love the fact I can use it in the shower since its waterproof. The only thing it can't do is give a really close shave but nothing beats a razor for that. If you're a guy and you want to stay well-groomed this is a fantastic tool.

Very good tablet for the money

I've been using this tablet for about a month now and I'm impressed with it. The screen resolution is nice, it has a sufficiently fast processor, and the size and weight feel well balanced. I got this tablet to compare with an LG Gpad and I gotta say I use the Acer more. The Gpad has better screen resolution but the Acer processes just as fast, it has much less bloatware and the size just suits me better. For a budget tablet it does everything I need it to do and it does it well. If you can buy it for under $100 you can't go wrong.

I recently installed the Linksys EA 9500 Max-Stream and it is truly impressive. Setup was a breeze, it worked flawlessly and while I'm fairly competent I'm no techie. The router is located in our basement, our house has 3 levels, about 4,000 sq feet, and our bedroom is on the opposite side of the house 2 floors up. We have great coverage in our room and upload/download speeds are incredible compared to our previous router.
Attached is a screen shot of our speed test using the Linksys utility, also attached is a screen shot using speedtest.net. Both tests were performed concurrently. Not sure why the Linksys utility shows a much slower download speed, might have something to do with the utility itself (FYI Linksys, when I ran the test the upload speed shows its up around 60 mbps but when the test concludes it says '9', don't know why). But I can confirm that streaming and up/downloading is top notch. This is a great upgrade to our home internet, highly recommended!

Not just another pretty face

In searching for a new laptop I wanted something that would travel well, had excellent specs/performance and looked great to impress clients. The new HP Spectre not only met my criteria but far surpassed it. It is absolutely the best looking laptop I have ever seen with its gorgeous design, copper accenting, back-lit keyboard, and sporting the new HP logo. It is amazingly thin, almost as thin as my Galaxy S5 Active phone (see picture) so traveling with it is a breeze. It boots up quickly and performs tasks incredibly fast with its Intel Core i7 processor, 8 gigs of RAM and a 256 gb solid state drive. The keyboard has excellent response as does the track pad, both of which never miss a beat as I'm using them. It has 3 USB type C connections, any of which can be used for charging, and it comes with an adapter for using regular USB peripherals.
I absolutely love this laptop and have received many compliments from clients who all want one, too! HP knocked it out of the park with the astounding computer.

Improved Wifi throughout our home

Having tested this router for several days now I would definitely say it has improved Wifi coverage throughout our home as well as improving internet up/download speeds. Setup was fairly straightforward although it took a little fiddling to get connected. I got several messages saying I needed to unplug/restart my cable modem but eventually it connected. As part of the setup it asks you to create a Smart Wifi account so you can login from anywhere and change your settings or even turn off the Wifi remotely. I have tried several times to establish an account; you cannot log on to the Smart Wifi URL until you get an email verification which I still have not received to this day. I verified multiple times that the email address I provided was correct, I asked the system to resend the verification email several times, and I also tried setting up an additional account using a different email address of mine (and yes, I checked my spam/junk folders). Still haven't received the verification email so I am unable to establish a Smart Wifi account and, therefore, cannot log into the Smart Wifi site so I cannot change settings remotely. Not sure what the problem is there but I've given up on that, so I'm only able to change my network settings, passwords, etc., by logging in locally.
With that said, Wifi coverage and internet load speeds have both improved throughout our home versus our previous Belkin router. The Linksys AC 1900 router is located in our basement and my teenage son's bedroom is two floors about that and on the opposite side of our home (4,000 sq ft home). He has a laptop, an IPad, and he logs on to the PS4 network frequently. He reports to me that all of his devices have been connecting without issue (he had many connection problems with our previous router) and webpages are loading faster. My wife and daughter also report the same. So if the family is happy, I'm happy.

Entertaining but impractical

Here are my thoughts after using the Bissell Smartclean robotic vacuum for about a week. When I first setup the vacuum and began its initial charge, I got an "E6" error code ("battery not installed properly"), so I doublechecked it to make sure it was inserted properly with the correct polarity, which is was, plugged it in to start charging and got the error code again so not sure why this was happening. Eventually it started to charge and the error code went away, but that was rather confusing.
The power switch must be set to "on" in order for the vacuum to charge, so in other words, you basically have to leave it turned on all the time. During the initial charge, there were blue LED numbers on the unit but I'm not sure what they were telling me since they are not mentioned in the instruction manual. Regarding the manual, it gives some basic setup information but it does not provide much detail with regard to operating the vacuum. I found the manual to be lacking in explanation.
Let's move on to how it actually performed. First of all, its fairly loud so its probably best if you program it to run when no one is around or when you are watching TV, etc. As it starts its cycle, I must say its pretty interesting to watch it operate. My kids and my dogs were just as entertained and interested in watching what it was going to do next as I was :) You find yourself kind of rooting for the little thing when it, for example, gets underneath the dining room table and tries to move itself around and through the chair and table legs. Come on little guy, you can get out of there! But then when it just can't seem to get out from under the table after a few minutes I would pick it up and help it move on its way but that produces an "E4" error code ("Unit picked up from the floor") and when you set it back down the cycle stops, therefore, you have to reset it and start it from the beginning of its cycle again.
After watching it for about 5 or 10 minutes the entertainment factor wears off so I'd go about my business and let it do its thing. I'd check on it periodically and found that it would sometimes seem to get confused or stuck in certain locations (like under tables), and its success rate in re-docking itself into the docking station was about 50% so sometimes I'd have to help it get properly seated.
I would check its performance after a cycle and could see that it certainly was picking up debris when emptying its dust bin. We have mostly woodfloors on our main level with some throw rugs and the vacuum was good at picking up dog hair, especially from the rugs. But it definitely required cleaning the hairs from the brush roller as well as emptying the bin after every use/cycle. I don't think its possible for it to clean the corners of rooms since the device is round and backs off immediateley when it touches or approaches a wall. After a cycle I could still see some debris on the floors so I guess I could either increase the length of a cycle or change its pattern, not sure.
But overall I honestly think robotic vacuums like this are more gimmick than a useful cleaning device. Yes, it is somewhat entertaining to watch it, but the truth is it doesn't do that great of a job at actually keeping our floors clean. You could vacuum your floors yourself in far less time than this thing does, but I guess that defeats the purpose of having a device that does it for you. In fairness, I have only used it for about a week so perhaps my thoughts will change over time and if they do I will update this review. But at this point I would not recommend it from a price-to-performance standpoint.

We bought this system for $250 a few months ago and paired it with a Vizio 55" E-series. After using it for a few months I gotta give this system 5 stars. It puts out excellent sound with BOOMING base. Besides using it with the TV I frequently pair my phone to it and listen to music and it is impressive. Really easy to use, works flawlessly, and produces excellent sound whether its music or movies. I see the price is now $200 which makes this an absolute bargain and an amazing value. Better get one while you still can.

Great tablet but too small for me

Bought the Nexus 7 after using IPads for several years. I wanted something that was a bit more mobile than the 10 inch tablets and to get away from ITunes for downloading content (hate it). After using the 7 for a week I learned 2 things: 1) the reviews on usability are correct, this product is fast, fun to use and it feels great in your hand, but 2) the screen size is just too small for me. For example, it was annoying to surf the web while having to constantly pinch/zoom; the font is just too small even after changing the settings to 'large font'. Yes, the screen has tremendous resolution but when its so small it seems to matter less. That 1 inch of extra space on the 8" tablets makes a surprising difference. As others have stated, the 8 inch tablet size is truly the sweet spot. Wish there was a Nexus 8...
What's great about it: Form factor, Android Jelly Bean

Its the diameter of the stove. The height is 16 and 3/4's when installed on the base.

Has anyone used these for running? I'm worried they won't stay in my ears...
I just finished a 7 mile run with these headphones, the outside temperature was 31 degrees, so I was wearing a knit cap. When running with the cap on the headphones stayed in place very well and required no adjusting or pushing them back into my ears. I also did a test without wearing the knit cap where I found the headphones did start to work themselves out of my ears after a few minutes. I’m 6’2” 205 pounds and not the smoothest runner so this probably had something to do with that, plus the fact that these headphones have a little more size and weight to them than others I’ve had in the past, no doubt due to the construction which helps them deliver that excellent bass sound.

Can I shower while using these?
They are water resistant, not waterproof, I would not shower with these.
